Here at NetSuite, we’re thinking nonstop about ways to help you be more efficient. And our latest release, NetSuite 2025 Release 1, contains new capabilities to help finance teams’ performance including an indirect procurement solution embedded in NetSuite, more functionality around invoice capture, and reusable templates for audit documentation. With these enhancements and more, finance teams are better equipped to work more efficiently and effectively.
New procurement solution embedded in the suite
NetSuite 2025.1 introduces NetSuite SuiteProcurement, an indirect procurement solution, powered by Oracle Business Network (OBN), that helps companies track and control purchases of operating supplies, helping them increase accuracy and efficiency by automating approval processes and managing documents electronically. With indirect procurement embedded within NetSuite, buyers can shop on a supplier’s ecommerce site, giving them access to volume discounts on goods and services by centralizing purchasing power with a select set of vendors. At check out, SuiteProcurement creates a purchase request, initiates the approval process, and automatically transmits the purchase order once approved to the vendor. Amazon Business and Staples Business Advantage are the first suppliers to support this solution and are offering significant benefits to SuiteProcurement customers.
SuiteProcurement is available as an add-on module and also included within NetSuite Advanced Procurement. Within NetSuite Advanced Procurement, SuiteProcurement provides NetSuite customers access to thousands of vendors and real-time supplier collaboration via OBN.

Increased control in NetSuite Bill Capture
NetSuite 2025.1 includes enhancements to NetSuite Bill Capture, allowing for improved control and visibility in the invoice-scanning solution. Both the Review Scanned Bill and Scanned Vendor Bills pages now include a reference number column, duplicate detection warning, and the ability to add user notes that will be carried over to the bill. The Scanned Vendor Bills page provides the option to remove uploads in bulk.
New features in Bill Capture also include ability to create templates per subsidiary and vendor combination, as well as download any uploaded files. The solution also now supports NetSuite SuiteTax, discounts such as percentages and negative rates, and a payment hold checkbox to apply a payment hold on a disputed bill. Bills generated with Bill Capture will now show the uploaded file and the generated bill in a side-by-side split view. Lastly, Bill Capture is now also supported in the UK when used with NetSuite SuiteTax.
Simplified compliance and grant management
NetSuite 2025.1 contains a host of new features designed to help companies with compliance.
In NetSuite Compliance 360, businesses have access to new, reusable templates that can be used for recurring audits to decrease the amount of time spent on documentation. The latest version of NetSuite Compliance 360 also includes enhanced audit documentation functionality that allow the export of each audit and an improved user experience with visuals to make data interpretation more intuitive.
NetSuite 2025.1 includes a new Grant Management SuiteApp, allowing companies to add grant management functionality to any SuiteSuccess edition. The new SuiteApp includes grant management segments, records, KPIs, and reporting, creating a trusted, single source to support organizations that receive revenue from both commercial and government avenues.
Additional features for increased visibility and efficiency
Additionally, the 2025.1 release also brings new enhancements including:
- New AI-powered narrative reporting capability: The new NetSuite Narrative Reporting feature in NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) empowers finance teams to quickly create generative AI-powered narratives and explanations from financial and transactional data. - Wider coverage of supported financial institutions: NetSuite’s partnership with a new financial aggregator allows for connections to over 14,000 financial institutions in the US and Canada. It also provides Open Authorization (OAuth) connections to over 700 banks, allowing for a stable, secure connection with less frequent re-authentication. With this partnership, more NetSuite customers can connect their bank and credit card accounts to NetSuite through the Bank Feeds SuiteApp, allowing data to flow automatically from the bank into NetSuite cloud accounting software.
- New SuiteTax enhancements: Designed to help companies simplify
transaction calculations and reporting, enhancements to NetSuite SuiteTax
include:
- Improved US tax reporting: All tax codes automatically provisioned by NetSuite SuiteTax Engine now include information around the tax authority imposing the tax and the tax authority to which it is reported, appearing under the Tax Authority section.
- Support for Combine Time Items and Combine Details Items preferences: The Combine Time Items on Invoices and Combine Detail Items on Expense Reports preferences can now be enabled in SuiteTax. This will simplify the presentation of items on transactions by combining time items into one total on invoices and grouping expense lines based on expense category to consolidate accounting entries.
- Enhanced cash forecasting: NetSuite Cash 360(opens in a new tab) now incorporates the amounts and due dates from installments to more accurately forecast the cash inflow and outflow from customer invoices and vendor bills. The Cash 360 dashboard splits the total amount due from an invoice or bill over multiple periods as defined on the installment term. You also have the option to drill down into the accounts payable and receivable amounts to see the payment term, installment, and total of the transaction.
- Increased flexibility in subscription invoice and allocation: NetSuite 2025.1 includes several new pieces of functionality in NetSuite SuiteBilling to better tailor subscription management processes to the needs of the business. Now, you can invoice and allocate revenue for associated services, projects, and hardware prior to activating the subscription service. You can also configure the bill date of the service automatically using a preference or manually on the subscription line.
- New workforce management features: In the NetSuite 2025.1 release, NetSuite SuitePeople Workforce Management provides new, region-based override options to help you manage pay for noncompliant meal or rest breaks. In the US, that includes options for missed, untimely, shortened, or interrupted breaks. For those in Australia, SuitePeople Workforce Management also includes new, pre-configured wage agreements for commonly used awards in the hospitality and fast food industries.
- Access to digital W2 form: Payroll administrators will no longer have to manually access and send an employee’s W2 when requested. Instead, the latest version of NetSuite SuitePeople Payroll empowers employees to access their digital W2 forms themselves through the employee center as needed.
- Direct invoice payment option: Now whenever you generate an invoice, the customer can receive an email link that directs them to the invoice in your business’s NetSuite SuiteCommerce, SuiteCommerce Advanced, or SuiteCommerce MyAccount site. This enhances the customer experience by allowing them to easily access a specific invoice and make a payment using their existing information as opposed to inputting the details every time.
- Access to more customer information and reports: Customer 360 in
NetSuite 2025.1 is full of new charts, metrics, and lists to help you quickly get up
to speed on a customer’s status and relationship history, as well as recent
transactions and activities. Some of the latest information options include:
