Customer: Building Engineering Consultants, Inc.
Consulting Spotlight Award Winner: Bridgepoint Consulting

Building Engineering Consultants, Inc. (BECI) provides engineering and assessment surveys that help clients ensure the integrity of new and existing structures, and optimize energy efficiency, moisture resistance, water and airflow, and overall safety and security. Launched in 1995, Florida-based BECI has over 2,000 clients and 11 locations across the US.

Outgrowing a legacy Deltek system, the professional services firm had limited insight into project progress, profitability, and gross margin reporting. BECI also had difficulties in tracking and billing project expenses, evaluating team performance, and billing efficiently across diverse project scenarios. BECI decided to re-engineer its technology foundation with NetSuite, implemented by Bridgepoint Consulting.

With NetSuite and customizations by Bridgepoint, BECI has reduced time around manual processes by 40%. The firm has increased real-time business visibility and control over ongoing projects, while speeding up and simplifying project billing. Bridgepoint customizations improved billing transparency for BECI clients and gave BECI new flexibility for billing by time and materials, milestone, and fixed fee models. Automated project and schedule setup, as well as integrating NetSuite with CRM, HR, and expense management systems, further enhanced efficiency across multiple BECI business units.

Customer: Bailey Education Group, LLC
Education Spotlight Award Winner: Beyond Cloud Consulting

Bailey Education Group, LLC provides schools with professional development and teacher coaching to help improve childhood education in reading, math, science, and social studies. Founded in 2007, the Mississippi-based firm also offers training for school and district leaders, special needs services, and early childhood education guidance as part of a holistic approach to improving educational outcomes.

Using QuickBooks and SharePoint, Bailey Education struggled with widespread manual data work. Instructor scheduling, certification tracking, sales commission tracking, and billing was done in spreadsheets, an error-prone and inefficient process that consumed time and resources. In addition, Bailey Education had challenges in financial consolidation and reporting, depriving it of valuable insights. The firm turned to Beyond Cloud Consulting for an on-time, on-budget NetSuite implementation, complete in less than four months.

With its move to NetSuite, Bailey Education has dramatically improved efficiency and insights across the business. Bailey Education has automated consultant billing and project creation processes. A custom Beyond Cloud instructor scheduling solution has smoothed out scheduling, incorporating better controls and real-time information. Finance staff can easily generate financial reports, eliminating time-consuming data aggregation in spreadsheets and providing leadership with essential insights. Certification tracking is also improved, helping to ensure the quality of Bailey Education’s services. Next, the company looks to centralize and automate their payroll and HR processes by integrating the SuitePeople Payroll and HR module. This integration will provide Bailey Education with a unified platform for employee data management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance.

Customer: Cypress Creek Renewables
Energy/Solar Spotlight Award Winner: Bring IT

Cypress Creek Renewables is a leading solar developer and independent power producer with projects in 24 US states. Founded in 2014 and based in North Carolina, Cypress Creek develops, finances, owns, and operates utility-scale and distributed solar and energy storage projects across the country with a mission to power a sustainable future. The company is owned by EQT Infrastructure, a private equity firm.

Cypress Creek faced issues due to a lack of integration between Sage Intacct and disparate third-party systems, leading to inefficiencies and difficulties in managing operations and data across departments. Challenges in data accuracy and consistency, along with operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks that inhibited the company’s scalability, prompted a move to NetSuite cloud ERP, implemented by Bring IT.

With NetSuite, Cypress Creek has a centralized platform that’s created new efficiencies and improved data accuracy. Replacing outdated applications with NetSuite, Cypress Creek has simplified and accelerated complex processes in financial reporting, project management, warehouse management, work orders, and assembly builds. AI-driven insights from NetSuite’s forecasting and budgeting capabilities help Cypress Creek make more informed decisions, optimize resource allocations, and better manage financial performance. Bring IT customizations have automated intercompany bill payments, resulting in significant time and resource savings.

Customer: Autotality
Automotive Spotlight Award Winner: Accrete

Autotality supplies automotive shops with equipment, as well as installation and maintenance services, for collision work, general service and repairs, painting, and more. Founded in 1988 as FilterWorks USA and headquartered outside Atlanta, Autotality serves auto shops in the southeast US through locations in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. The company is backed by private equity firms KT Capital Partners and Pine Street Capital Partners.

Expanding over several years through a half-dozen acquisitions, Autotality struggled with disconnected processes across multiple divisions and systems including QuickBooks, Salesforce, and three field service applications. The company wanted a unified platform to address challenges in financial controls, divisional reporting, consolidated reporting, purchasing, scheduling, and fulfillment. Autotality moved into the fast lane with NetSuite, implemented by Accrete.

With a centralized and integrated cloud ERP, Autotality now has better management and reporting across divisions, with the new ability to measure gross margin by project. Customizations by Accrete eliminated past errors in sales orders not linking to the proper divisions and locations. Processes such as procurement, inventory management, and fulfillment now function faster and smoother, and the company has improved field service processes such as ticketing, scheduling, on-site data capture, and field service technician resource allocations. In a next phase, Autotality is exploring additional improvements to warehouse and inventory management, and in lead-to-cash cycles, atop its unified NetSuite platform.

Customer: API Metrology
Manufacturing Spotlight Award Winner: Myers-Holum

API Metrology is a leading supplier of advanced dimensional metrology equipment used for 3D measurement, assembly, calibration, and inspection in industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, defense, and robotics. Since 1983, the Maryland-based company has provided custom solutions for companies including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Ford that are crucial to ensuring precision and quality in machined products.

Using Sage Intacct for accounting, Sugar CRM for CRM, and several standalone systems, API Metrology had a fragmented IT environment and disjointed business processes. Operational efficiency suffered and the company had difficulty consolidating global financial accounts. Also in need of advanced manufacturing capabilities, API Metrology identified NetSuite as the ideal solution to improve efficiencies in both its finance and operations.

Implemented by Myers-Holum, NetSuite has equipped API Metrology for seamless global consolidations across subsidiaries in Germany, France, Brazil, China, and India, delivering transparency and insights not previously possible.
