Growth is a top priority for virtually every retailer, manufacturer, and distributor. These product companies want to expand into new geographic regions, open new channels, and diversify the product lineup. Yet achieving ambitious growth goals requires business agility and data-driven insights beyond the capabilities of entry-level or outdated legacy systems. To fuel growth, leading product companies turn to a NetSuite Alliance Partner to implement NetSuite.

This post is part of a series that showcases our Summer 2024 Alliance Partner Spotlight Award winners in the product company category, featuring customers in the food and beverage, consumer goods, and promotional products spaces.

Customer: poppi

Food and Beverage Spotlight Award Winner: Bridgepoint Consulting

poppi has emerged as one of the fastest growing beverage businesses on a mission to revolutionize soda for the next generation. Born in 2015 as Mother Beverage, this husband-and-wife team set out to reimagine how consumers think about soda. By 2020, their bold vision became poppi—a modern soda blending real fruit juice, apple cider vinegar, and prebiotics, today available at every major retailer nationwide. The Texas-based company has recorded triple-digit growth year-over-year since inception, aided by social media marketing, celebrity endorsements, and a cultural cache culminating with a full acquisition by PepsiCo in May 2025.

With QuickBooks and unintegrated third-party applications, poppi faced challenges with a fragmented business landscape, and difficult inventory reconciliation across its network of co-manufacturers and third-party logistics partners. Creating financial reports for executives and investors required inefficient manual data collection and spreadsheets. Needing a growth-oriented platform, poppi selected NetSuite with implementation by Bridgepoint Consulting (opens in new tab).

With NetSuite, poppi has consolidated previously standalone functions into an integrated ERP platform. Procurement, accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting are now based on a single system of record, providing enhanced efficiency, visibility, and collaboration across business units. Customizations and integrations by Bridgepoint in areas of EDI, a direct sales delivery portal, and accounts payable automation are helping poppi work seamlessly with co-manufacturers that produce, store, and distribute poppi products. NetSuite equips poppi to continue scaling efficiently while maintaining control over their expanding operations.

Customer: PB5star

Consumer Goods Spotlight Award Winner: Mirketa

PB5star is a maker of high quality, performance-oriented apparel, footwear, and gear aimed at enthusiasts of pickleball, America’s fastest-growing sport. The Florida-based company launched in 2024, selling on its own direct-to-consumer ecommerce site with expansion into retail stores and online marketplaces on the strategic roadmap. PB5star is headed by entrepreneurs who created and ran the footwear brand Vionic before selling the firm for $360 million in 2018.

Rather than starting the PB5star business on disparate entry-level systems and later implementing a full-fledged ERP, PB5star chose to build a highly flexible and scalable tech stack anchored by the NetSuite ERP from the start. Having suffered previous implementation woes with an SAP system, PB5star chose NetSuite for its proven track record with fast-growth companies, its capacity for straightforward integrations with third-party applications, and its scalability for growth. Mirketa (opens in new tab) handled an on-time implementation to get PB5star quickly operational on NetSuite.

PB5star now has a single, integrated platform to handle key processes, resulting in a 30% reduction in operational inefficiencies. Decisions are being made 25% faster thanks to real-time data visibility across ecommerce, logistics, and wholesale operations. PB5star is scaling to a 50% increase in business volume without additional system investments and has reduced time to market for new product launches by 40%. Mirketa integrations of NetSuite with Shopify for ecommerce, a JOOR wholesale commerce platform, and a third-party logistics partner help ensure smooth data and process flows. PB5star has the scalable business management platform it needs for rapid growth, without concern that it will need to upgrade systems in the future.

Customer: Charge Chocolate

Global Expansion Spotlight Award Winner: CBIZ

Charge Chocolate is a fast-growing maker of caffeine-infused chocolate balls with 54 mg of caffeine in each ball equivalent to a 16-ounce energy drink. The company, headquartered in Connecticut, was founded in 2021 by two entrepreneurs and FaZe Blaze, a social media influencer with more than 3.6 million YouTube subscribers, with the goal of offering a healthier alternative to traditional energy drinks and coffee.

Charge Chocolate lacked real-time visibility into inventory levels, landed costs, gross sales, and margins with QuickBooks. The company needed more robust technology to handle increasing sales volumes through exclusive agreements with select retailers including Walmart and 7-Eleven in addition to complete and accurate financial reporting at subsidiary and consolidated levels. Charge Chocolate moved to supercharge its growing business with NetSuite by engaging CBIZ (opens in new tab) to help implement NetSuite and integrate NetSuite to Shopify and 3PL in just 65 days.

Today, Charge Chocolate has automated inbound inventory processes from its product manufacturer in Spain and outbound delivery to more than 2,000 Walmart locations in compliance with Walmart requirements. The company has also automated billing and improved cash forecasting accuracy while gaining real-time visibility into gross margins, sales, and inventory levels. A transaction audit trail also provides visibility into operations, resulting in Charge Chocolate being able to strengthen its controls with auditable financials across multiple international subsidiaries. Next steps for Charge Chocolate includes taking advantage of NetSuite capabilities for outsourced and in-house manufacturing, new distribution channels, and global growth across six continents.

“I’ve been involved in system implementations for 25+ years, and this is the smoothest implementation to date,” said Pat Kenny, CEO.

Customer: Illini

Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) Spotlight Award Winner: Bryant Park Consulting

Since 1949, Illini has been a trusted supplier in the promotional products industry, delivering customized items for a wide range of markets -- from corporate and educational institutions to healthcare, nonprofits, and beyond. Headquartered in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illini operates out of a 120,000-square-foot facility, where it uses advanced techniques like pad printing, UV printing and laser engraving to produce everything from keychains and ornaments to kitchenware, planter kits, and pet toys.

Despite its long history of innovation in product design, Illini was being held back by outdated legacy systems. Financial reporting was a labor-intensive, manual process with limited visibility into key metrics. Operations were siloed—order management, production, and inventory didn’t sync seamlessly, leading to inefficiencies and a lack of clarity across departments.

To address these challenges, Illini partnered with NetSuite and Bryant Park Consulting (opens in new tab) to transform its core business operations. The goal was to streamline processes, unify systems, and gain real-time insight into performance across the organization. Since implementing NetSuite, Illini has successfully brought its teams and systems onto a single, integrated platform. Employees now have instant access to key data and performance indicators, enabling faster, more informed decision-making. Operational workflows—from inventory management to order fulfillment—are better aligned, reducing friction and improving speed across the board.

Illini now has a solid foundation for scalable, cost-efficient growth. Thanks to NetSuite and Bryant Park, the company is now better equipped to adapt to change, drive innovation, and continue delivering exceptional value to its customers for decades to come.

Customer: Anatometal

Jewelry Spotlight Award Winner: PCG (Providence Consulting Group)

Launched in 1991 in Santa Cruz, Calif., Anatometal has grown into a leading provider of handcrafted body-piercing jewelry using metals such as 18k gold, titanium, niobium, and stainless steel. The company is part of the Body Art Alliance (BAA), a collaboration of global brands in the body jewelry, tattooing, and professional beauty space.

Running an on-premise Sage platform, Anatometal lacked visibility into inventory and manufacturing, while order fulfillment speed lagged with no integration between an ecommerce platform and other systems. To improve operational efficiency and organizational reporting with its parent BAA, Anatometal selected PCG to bring the company onto a NetSuite OneWorld instance PCG(opens in new tab) had already implemented for four other BAA member companies.

With NetSuite OneWorld, Anatometal has connected previously standalone business functions atop a single system, boosting efficiency and visibility across the company. Inventory management accuracy is up, and managers can now easily view status of items in the manufacturing pipeline. Order fulfillment delays have been eliminated with integration between NetSuite and an ecommerce platform, improving customer satisfaction. Customizations by PCG have improved speed in workflows, approvals, and batch label printing, eliminating time-consuming workarounds of the past. Anatometal has new scalability with NetSuite as it expands its business into BAA’s global markets.

Customer: DeZURIK

Industrial Manufacturing Spotlight Award Winner: Deloitte

DeZURIK is a global leader in valve technologies for water and wastewater treatment as well as industrial applications including pulp and paper, chemical and petrochemical, power, mining, and other process industries. Founded in 1928 and headquartered in Minnesota, DeZURIK has additional locations in Texas, Washington, North Carolina, and Ontario, Canada. The company is backed by Granite Partners, a private equity firm.

With outdated platforms such as Baan, Epicor, and M1, DeZURIK had data that was difficult to reconcile and report on. Manufacturing in multiple ERPs was very complex. NetSuite, Granite Partners’ preferred ERP for its portfolio companies, was chosen as a single platform to simplify data and processes and equip the company to scale efficiently. Deloitte(opens in new tab) was engaged to lead implementation.

With NetSuite and Deloitte customizations, manufacturing processes were harmonized through automation of previously manual tasks and by incorporating item drawings directly in NetSuite through integration with Box. Supply chain processes are also harmonized across locations and subsidiaries, and transparency has risen as well. Sales reps have access to a real-time view of sales order progress from quote to invoice to shipment. Multiple gains in operational efficiency have been realized from Deloitte customizations in areas including bills of material, inventory movement, and sales quote validation using NetSuite Configure, Price, Quote.

Customer: Viridis Chemical

Chemical Manufacturing Spotlight Award Winner: NetDynamic Consulting

Viridis Chemical is an innovative manufacturer of renewable, bio-based, low-carbon chemicals for use in paints, pharmaceuticals, flavorings, cosmetics, adhesives, and other everyday products. Founded in 2020, the company was honored with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2024 Green Chemistry Challenge Award in recognition of its sustainable approach to chemical manufacturing.

As the business grew, Viridis needed to strengthen its operational governance and give stakeholders greater transparency and visibility into its procure-to-pay process, from purchase orders to item receipts and bills, while also improving analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Working with NetDynamic Consulting(opens in new tab), Viridis implemented a procure-to-pay solution within NetSuite in just three months. The new process provides clear, real-time oversight for stakeholders at every stage, enabling the team to identify and address discrepancies quickly, monitor spending against budget, and make informed decisions with confidence. With these controls and scalable processes in place, Viridis is well-positioned for its next phase of growth in delivering environmentally responsible chemical products to a broad range of customers.
