Most—88%—of C-suite executives globally say helping their businesses speed up the adoption of AI will be important over the next year, according to a recent survey by LinkedIn. Further, 80% of respondents in the same survey believe AI will kickstart a culture shift, where teams become more innovative. To that end, NetSuite is making AI more accessible and impactful by expanding embedded AI functionality across the platform, including several new enhancements in NetSuite 2025 Release 2.

The latest release introduces AI-powered capabilities that generate insights and summaries without having to build reports. Also new: instant translation, multivariable forecasting through machine learning models, GenAI to quickly write job requisitions, and more. These enhancements allow businesses to easily incorporate AI into their everyday workflows so they can work smarter, faster, and more strategically.

NetSuite Analytics Warehouse provides AI comparative insights

NetSuite 2025.2 introduces a new AI-powered analytics tool to NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, called Contextual Insights. With Contextual Insights, you can automatically generate comparative insights using both text and visualizations, making it easier to understand how a select subset of data compares to the broader data set.

By offering up to three visualizations at a time and highlighting key similarities and differences, the Contextual Insights tool helps teams quickly zero in on what matters most. This enables faster, more focused decision-making.

Improved decision support for Planning and Budgeting

As outside business conditions become more dynamic, multiple factors can impact planning. NetSuite Planning and Budgeting supports multivariate forecasting, allowing you to analyze multiple related business drivers such as sales, marketing spend, and inventory together, rather than in isolation. This approach provides a more complete view of how these variables interact over time, helping to build more reliable forecasts. The Multivariate Predictions feature uses machine learning to automatically evaluate relevant data and select the forecasting method that is intended to deliver predictions in context to enable better data-driven decisions.

In addition to multivariate forecasting, the latest version of NetSuite Planning and Budgeting includes the ability to access and interact with Intelligent Performance Management (IPM) Insights directly within Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint using the Smart View for Microsoft Office feature. This update delivers a smoother, more intuitive user experience and embeds AI-powered insights into everyday workflows. By highlighting key trends, outliers, and data drivers, the tool provides instant, predictive decision support—so teams spend less time switching between systems and more time planning for success.

Additional AI-powered features

The 2025.2 release brings other new AI enhancements, including:

  • Financial close job execution insights: The financial close process going right depends on a series of processes—including data imports, metadata updates, journal entries, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations. When a job fails, finance teams often face the challenge of interpreting technical logs. The new job analytics insights feature in NetSuite Close Management and Consolidation uses GenAI to translate complex log data into clear, actionable summaries that highlight errors, suggest next steps, and make it easy for nontechnical users to understand and resolve issues.
  • AI-powered translations NetSuite Text Enhance now supports multi-language translations, allowing you to set default languages and quickly translate a text field, or a highlighted portion of the text within that field. In addition, Text Enhance Translate is available through the SuiteScript GenAI API to help users easily embed translation capabilities into their NetSuite extensions and customizations.

  • Job requisition generation: The latest version of Text Enhance in NetSuite SuitePeople HR also incorporates GenAI to write job descriptions, allowing recruiters to create requisitions faster, with less manual work. Flexible editing options allow for automatically shortening or lengthening or fine-tuning the requisition text.
  • Document Intelligence API: NetSuite’s programming language, SuiteScript, now includes the Document Intelligence API that uses GenAI to extract, summarize, and answer questions about both structured and unstructured documents stored in NetSuite, such as PDFs and images.
