"I am so pleased to have NetSuite, the 2nd fastest-growing U.S. software company, join our strong and dynamic IT community," said Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion. "Mississauga is now home to NetSuite's first Canadian operation. Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area is known for its highly-qualified, educated work force and is a recognized centre for expertise and growth in the information technology sector. I am sure that NetSuite will be extremely successful by taking advantage of our attractive business environment."

NetSuite also announced today new Canadian customer and partner wins. The customers are from a wide range of industries, including online retail, distribution, professional services and non-profit. These include: Cotton Systems Ltd. (www.cottonsystems.com), who publishes training systems for the financial services industry primarily in Canada and the U.S. and is based in Edmonton, Alberta; Mount Real Corporation (www.mountreal.com), an accounting firm based in Montreal; New England Arbors (www.ultralastvinyls.com), a maker of garden arbors based in Sarina, Ontario; Alan Stewart Homes (www.stewart-homes.com), a provider of homes for medically challenged children based in Peterborough, Ontario; and Canadian Food for the Hungry International (www.cfhi.ca), a non-profit charity based in Abbotsford, British Columbia that works to bring long-term sustainable solutions to the poor and destitute, primarily in developing nations.

NetSuite also added major Canadian channel partners who are leading the charge to deliver software as a service. Resellers who previously sold client-server software from Microsoft and ACCPAC have joined with NetSuite to market and distribute NetSuite's on-demand software solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They include Laurstan Consulting, Inc. (www.laurstan.com) in Burlington, Ontario; Ghattas Doucet & Sonego (www.bookkeeping.ca) in Ottawa; SmartCase Solutions, Inc. (www.smartcase.ca) in Calgary, Alberta; Illuminated Technologies, Inc. (www.lumatech.ca) in Vancouver, British Columbia; and Archetec Business Solutions, Inc. (www.archetec.com) in Vanderhoof, British Columbia.

NetSuite, founded in 1998 to deliver an integrated online business to run small and midsized businesses, is one of the fastest growing software companies in the world. In October 2004, Inc. Magazine named NetSuite the fastest growing software company in Silicon Valley, the second fastest growing software company in the United States, and the 12 th fastest growing U.S. company overall.

"Our Canadian presence is a strategic investment that we think could accelerate our torrid growth rate," said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. "In addition to rich services and support for our many Canadian customers, we will leverage the great skills of our Canadian employees to help our customers around the globe."

The Clean-Mark Group of Companies (www.cleanmark.com), based in Toronto, is a national provider of commercial cleaning services whose customers include Staples, Best Buy and Regis Corporation. On the brink of choosing disparate software systems to run its accounting and sales operations, Clean-Mark realized NetSuite could do it all in one system—and even include ecommerce—so its customers could easily buy products, such as cleaning supplies, as well as its services.

"W e had been using QuickBooks and then seriously considered tying it to Salesforce.com, but when we learned NetSuite was basically a combination of both, we made the switch," said John Vavitsas, CEO of The Clean-Mark Group of Companies. "Now we pay less money and have an integrated system that can do everything—from sales force automation to generating sales orders to drop shipping to ecommerce."
