Carolyn Duffy
CPA, Director of Business Advisory Services

Carolyn has over 26 years of tax, audit, and consulting experience, and serves as Director of Business Advisory Services in the Denver office of HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP. She leads the NetSuite Implementation Services Group, and also has experience as head of the SOX 404 and IT service lines where she was instrumental in designing and implementing the associated methodologies.

Prior to joining HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP in 2004, Carolyn was the Director of the IT Service Line for Resources Global, and a Senior Manager for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. She was also a National Vice President for FutureNext Consulting and managed both Oracle and JDEdwards consulting practices for mid-sized companies and managed a successful $15M worldwide Oracle 11i implementation. As well as consulting and public accounting, she was CFO for a mid-sized construction company with revenues of approximately $150M.

Carolyn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA), Colorado Software and Internet Association (CSIA), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics form Marquette University, and her Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado.


Zach Nelson

Zach Nelson is an accomplished software industry executive and visionary with more than 20 years of leadership experience. His career began with executive positions in marketing, sales, product development and business strategy at some of the most influential and innovative technology companies, including Oracle, Sun Microsystems and McAfee/Network Associates.

CEO of NetSuite since 2002, Nelson led the company's successful IPO in 2007 and its rise from startup to a slate of over 6,600 active customers. Under Nelson's leadership, NetSuite has grown substantially year-over-year to become one of the industry's leading cloud computing companies. He was named one of the 10 Visionary CEOs of 2008 by InternetNews.com.

Nelson holds a patent in the field of application integration, and has several others pending approval. He holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University.


Neil Thomas
Vice President, Solutions
Adaptive Planning

Neil is an experienced executive with deep domain expertise in business intelligence, budgeting and forecasting, and financial management.

Prior to joining Adaptive Planning, Neil was a sales executive at Cognos. At Cognos, he led the region that generated the company's strongest sales growth, delivering nine successive quarters of year-on-year growth. Prior to his tenure at Cognos, Neil held Area Vice President of Sales, Area Vice President of Channels, and General Manager positions at Adaytum, a market-creating budgeting and planning vendor that was acquired by Cognos. He joined Adaytum as one of the original team in 1996 and played a key role in driving the company's growth from $1 million to $61 million in revenue. From his many years as Group Financial Controller at Dimension Data and Marketing Controller at Johnson & Johnson, Thomas also brings valuable financial management insight to the Adaptive Planning team.

Neil received a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance from Thames Valley University in London and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Neil is a certified accountant and chartered company secretary.
