Zach Nelson

Zach Nelson is an accomplished software industry executive and visionary with more than 20 years of leadership experience. His career began with executive positions in marketing, sales, product development and business strategy at some of the most influential and innovative technology companies, including Oracle, Sun Microsystems and McAfee/Network Associates.

CEO of NetSuite since 2002, Nelson led the company's successful IPO in 2007 and its rise from startup to a slate of over 6,600 active customers. Under Nelson's leadership, NetSuite has grown substantially year-over-year to become one of the industry's leading cloud computing companies. He was named one of the 10 Visionary CEOs of 2008 by InternetNews.com.

Nelson holds a patent in the field of application integration, and has several others pending approval. He holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University.

Tim Sheedy
Senior Analyst, IT Sourcing and Vendor Management
Forrester Research

Based in Sydney, Australia, Tim serves Sourcing & Vendor Management professionals. He helps clients better manage and source their IT solutions and vendors. Tim has been responsible for providing insights into the broader ICT environment in Asia Pacific. His global research focus is around project-based work, particularly those projects using service-oriented architecture (SOA) or information management solutions. Tim also has a keen interest in helping regional clients run the most effective and efficient IT operations, and therefore he is a keen follower of the IT service management (ITSM) and business service management (BSM) spaces.

Tim comes to Forrester with more than 10 years of IT analyst experience with ICT vendors and IT research providers. Most recently, he was the research director of IT solutions at IDC in Australia, where he assisted IT vendors in designing solutions to better fit market requirements and assisted user clients with their strategies to improve the effectiveness of their IT functions. In this role, he developed a reputation as a respected and sought-after industry analyst and an entertaining and informative public speaker on many of the key trends in the IT market.

Tim is regularly quoted in local, regional, international business, and in IT press, including such publications as The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, CIO Magazine, and The Australian. He has keynoted and presented at many ICT events in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Tim holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and research from the University of Technology, Sydney.
