Zach Nelson has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the high-tech industry, where he has held a variety of executive positions spanning marketing, sales, product develoent and business strategy with leading companies such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and McAfee/Network Associates. Nelson has been CEO of NetSuite since 2002. One of the top 10 visionary CEOs in the Silicon Valley, Nelson led NetSuite's successful IPO in 2007. Under his leadership, NetSuite has become the leading provider of cloud computing business management software suites in the world. Nelson holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University.
Head of Enterprise Product Management
Australia and New Zealand, Google
Anil Sabharwal is responsible for driving Google's product direction for its suite of enterprise products in the region.
A recognised serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of senior leadership experience in the high-tech sector, Anil is no stranger to web and mobile innovation. Prior to joining Google, Anil was Founder and Managing Director of RAYV, Australia's first-ever business review social community. In less than six months, Anil guided the develoent of the product, launched the offering, and secured RAYV as one of Australia's Top 50 Web 2.0 companies. He is also credited with co-founding and successfully growing Desire2Learn into what is now the world's second largest online learning company focused on the educational sector.
Anil's previous roles include General Manager of Talent2's management consulting division, where he was instrumental in developing the organisation's strategy and managing its key client accounts such as eBay and Telstra, and Vice President of Product Management. Anil has also held senior software develoent and product management roles with Microsoft and IBM, and was the Head of Marketing for Viewpoint, a publicly traded company that provided Internet-based rich media advertising technology and mobile services.
Anil graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science and a Minor in Business Administration. He has been nominated as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 and is considered to be an exceptional presenter, having spoken at over 20 conferences.
Cloud/SaaS Director, Australia
Rod is a Director at Accenture, responsible for the Accenture Cloud/ITO /SaaS business in Australia. He has more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of Business Applications, Cloud and Outsourcing. Rod has worked across the ANZ and Asia-Pacific region with a focus on mid market and enterprise customers within Government, manufacturing, financial services, retail and communications organisations.
He has played a leading role in the shaping and driving numerous Cloud/SaaS transformational programs in Australia. More recently, Rod has been helping Accenture's clients develop strategies for adopting cloud and application and infrastructure outsourcing to achieve business results.
As Cloud/SaaS gains significant momentum within corporate Australia, Rod will provide insight into how this strategy allows an organisation to gain a competitive advantage and focus on their core business.
