About

Sean Ammirati is a Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.

Experience

In addition to teaching, he is the Co-Founder and Director of the Carnegie Mellon Corporate Startup Lab (CSL), an initiative of CMU’s Swartz Center that conducts research and develops tools to help companies better adapt and integrate entrepreneurial best practices into their innovation processes. Sean is also a partner at the seed-stage fund Birchmere Ventures and an author.

Education

Sean has a BS in Computer Information Systems from Grove City College (opens in new tab) and was a research fellow at Carnegie Mellon's (opens in new tab) Sloan Software Industry Center.
