Actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis says everything he did growing up led him to his successful career path in showbiz.
“I wanted to be whatever I just saw,” Sudeikis explains in an interview with Grow Wire, noting all of the popular movies he watched growing up. “And so what that says to me now is that I wanted to do all these different things, and I sort of get to as an actor.”
Movies aside, real-life circumstances—like a breakup with his high school sweetheart—also helped prepare him for his acting career. Life in Hollywood is full of rejection. The word “no” is a pill all actors have to swallow—and swallow often.
