Now in its fourth year, SuiteWorld (opens in new tab) is already well-known as the premier event for learning, networking and flat-out enjoying all things NetSuite.

This year, based on feedback from attendees and a constant effort to improve upon the conference, we are debuting a new track called “SUITEideas Worth Sharing,” which will feature some new elements designed to inspire your creative thinking long after the dust has settled on SuiteWorld 2014. Read on for more details and make sure you’re registered to attend at www.netsuite.com/suiteworld.

Ask Me Anything

SuiteWorld attendees have clamored for even more in-depth, technical content and we’re bringing it with a new session format. For each day of the conference, we will be offering interactive, audience-led discussions around a specific topic. Each session will have an executive sponsor acting as moderator along with four to five NetSuite experts with deep technical expertise from our product management, development, professional services or solution consulting teams. Tuesday’s session will focus on the Suite, Wednesday’s on SuiteCommerce and Thursday’s on the SuiteCloud platform, but it is the audience that will lead the discussions. This isn’t an old-fashioned, sit around a convention hall and get lectured at by guys in suits reading prepackaged slides kind of session, but rather an interactive, rapid-fire back and forth, with relaxed seating to spur conversation and “chalk talk” space for when a picture is worth a thousand words. For each question posed by the audience, at least two NetSuite experts will weigh in on the answer. As a session attendee, you will be incented to vote on the merits of the question with prizes given to the audience member with the best question posed. So come ready to participate and pit your NetSuite Ninja skills against our best of the best!

TED-style Talks

Just to show you that it’s not all NetSuite all the time, we’ve also added two lectures with top-notch speakers at innovative organizations to provide some different viewpoints that not only inform, but entertain.

The session on Tuesday, May 13 at 4:30pm will tackle the topic of “Innovate or Perish! But How?” and will illuminate attendees on how organizations can foster a culture of product innovation in their business. Speakers from NetSuite customers Quirky, a social product development company that uses crowdsourcing to develop and refine inventions, and Alton Lane, a national custom tailor that is revolutionizing the way men buy suits using detailed questionnaires and a body scan, will share their experience and insight.

“Brand + Technology = Success” will be the featured topic for Wednesday, May 14 at 4 p.m. and will explore how you keep a brand fresh in the digital age. This session will feature representatives from Google, who have a little experience with the digital age, and the Oakland A’s, a Major League Baseball club that NetSuite is proud to count in our customer ranks and has taken fan interaction and loyalty to a new level using social media and other technology.

Come be informed, come be inspired and go home and innovate.
