The annual AICPA Not for Profit conference is rapidly approaching and this year’s conference offers an expanded agenda to help nonprofit finance teams navigate the complexities surrounding tax, compliance, accounting and auditing in the nonprofit finance landscape.

Held annually, the AICPA Not for Profit conference brings together industry experts and thought leaders who offer their perspectives on the most critical issues facing nonprofit organizations. Attendees get a comprehensive industry update for the coming year, get answers to their most pressing questions and discover the best financial management strategies to fit their organization’s needs and missions.

This year’s event, aptly themed “Fostering Collaborative Success” will be held June 15-17th at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort, in National Harbor, Maryland. The theme of the conference is built on the notion that while the nonprofit industry has experienced recent stabilization and growth, more cutbacks in government spending, increased A-133 audit scrutiny, wavering customer confidence and uncertainty in gaining donor support puts continued financial strain on these organizations. Finding innovative ways to drive fundraising and grow revenue, while staying true to mission, becomes more critical than ever. Collaboration is key – nonprofit finance teams must work closer than ever with their operational counterparts to address common issues and objectives.

If you will be attending the conference, please be sure to stop by our booth 309 and learn how NetSuite can help your nonprofit organization achieve long-term growth and sustainability by reducing costs, improving operational efficiencies and freeing up resources that could be better spent fundraising, recruiting volunteers and making a difference.

NetSuite will also be presenting Learning Lab Sessions during the afternoon breaks on Monday and Tuesday. During our first session on Monday, June 15th at 3:20 p.m., “FASB Compliance Reporting and Analytics,” we will be exploring operational, reporting and analysis tools that can be used for FASB compliant reports, managing expenses, budgeting to the real cost of operations and exposing a nonprofit’s capacity to manage risk and seek expansion.

In Tuesday’s session at 2:15 p.m., “Beyond the Donation Model: The Commerce Side of Nonprofits,” we will cover how successful nonprofit organizations are growing lifetime value and boosting revenue streams by implementing a cohesive fundraising and commerce solution unified with accounting.

We also invite you to download this research study from SL Associates to learn how cloud-based solutions help drive nonprofit operational performance.
