NetSuite SuiteWorld Pre-Conference Training offers a unique opportunity to develop your NetSuite skills and knowledge. Hosted by the NetSuite SuiteTraining team for two days in advance of the conference, it offers hands-on training with expert instructors, who have a combined 75 years of NetSuite experience, to take your skills to the next level.

This year you can tailor your learning by choosing from 11 different courses that drill down on such subject areas as:

  • Leveraging the SuiteCloud platform tools to customize and extend your NetSuite account.
  • Automating business process workflows to improve user efficiency and accuracy.
  • Creating reports and searches to obtain critical business intelligence from your NetSuite data.

Each year the SuiteTraining team introduces new courses at SuiteWorld so you always have fresh opportunities for learning. Of the 11 courses being offered this year, five have been developed specifically for SuiteWorld 2014.

Certification
For the first time, we are offering the NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification Package. On the first day, brush up your NetSuite knowledge by participating in a group study session, facilitated by our NetSuite experts. On the second day, take the SuiteFoundation Exam and/or the ERP Consultant Exam during a proctored session. If you pass both exams, you become a Certified NetSuite ERP Consultant and can promote your superior cloud computing skills and knowledge during the remainder of the conference.

SuiteBuilder
New to our SuiteCloud Platform lineup, the SuiteBuilder: Point-and-Click Customizations course teaches you how to customize the NetSuite UI. As you progress through the course and hands-on exercises, the scenarios become more sophisticated, helping you to grow your skills as you learn more complex customization techniques. By the end of this course, you will be able to add custom fields to standard data records; create advanced fields that dynamically source and filter data; create new record types to collect specific information; and more.

Manufacturing
For those responsible for managing their company’s manufacturing operations, we are offering Manufacturing Fundamentals for the first time ever. This course begins by introducing the core functionality and capabilities of NetSuite Manufacturing. You then go deeper into the application as you study how to set up inventory items, costing, routing and BOM structures; learn to create assemblies and routings to build products; examine how to manage work orders through WIP; and much more.

SuiteCommerce

We are also excited to be introducing two brand new courses for NetSuite SuiteCommerce!

If you are responsible for managing a NetSuite web store, take the SuiteCommerce: Running Your Web Store course. During this training, you learn to use NetSuite’s unified ecommerce features to optimize operations and perform common merchandising and marketing tasks, such as performing order and inventory management; creating and displaying items in your web store; applying SEO methods to optimize items for searches and rankings; and using website reports to analyze shopper behavior.

If you are software developer, take the SuiteCommerce: Building Web Stores Part 1 course to learn how to create unique and highly customized ecommerce websites with the SuiteCommerce platform. Through a series of practical skill-building scenarios, you practice how to implement and extend prebuilt reference implementations for My Account, Cart and Checkout that are running on the same front-end web architecture utilizing Backbone, Underscore, Bootstrap and Query. You also learn how to take advantage of SuiteScript Server Pages technology to allow for a high degree of customization across your website.

This course is the first part of a two-course series. SuiteCommerce: Building Web Stores Part 1 can be taken by those implementing SuiteCommerce Site Builder or SuiteCommerce Advanced web sites. The second course in the series, SuiteCommerce: Building Web Stores Part 2, can be taken after SuiteWorld by those implementing SuiteCommerce Advanced websites.

Dates and Registration
Pre-Conference Training is on Sunday, May 11 and Monday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the San Jose Convention Center.
