Customer: Rebag

Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories Spotlight Award Winner: Folio3

Founded in 2014 and based in New York City, Rebag owns and operates an online marketplace for buying and selling secondhand luxury handbags and accessories, including jewelry, watches, shoes, and apparel. The company also owns and operates brick-and-mortar stores in New York, California, and Florida, as well as multiple locations across the country in partnership with Bloomingdale’s, that sell its secondhand luxury handbags and accessories. Rebag’s marketplace is “end-to-end” or “fully managed,” as it provides comprehensive services to maximize certainty, speed, and trust for all parties.

Rebag partnered with Folio3 (opens in new tab) for its NetSuite implementation, having outgrown its previous QuickBooks system. With the partner’s help, Rebag centralized the purchase and sale of secondhand luxury items, transactions in both cash and store credit, and recording and reporting of consignment transactions in one system. This gave the business a more comprehensive and up-to-date view of its performance. Folio3 developed an integration between NetSuite and Rebag’s proprietary backend system that has improved financial reporting for subsidiaries, simplified inventory and consigned goods reporting, enhanced tracking of sales transactions, boosted vendor management, and added support for virtual wallet transactions.

The result: Rebag has increased operational efficiency and gained access to new insights with analytics while improving customer experiences with real-time account balances. The integration of NetSuite with Rebag’s proprietary backend system allows for effortless data transfers, enhancing scalability and operational efficiency.

Customer: Toys For Trucks

Automotive Spotlight Award Winner: Myers-Holum

Toys For Trucks is a retailer specializing in parts and accessories for trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, cars, and ATVs. It operates both an ecommerce website and roughly 30 brick-and-mortar stores across the US and Canada.

While the company was on a fast growth trajectory, using disconnected systems such as QuickBooks for accounting and Finale for inventory management created significant operational inefficiencies, including pricing inconsistencies, multichannel sales challenges, and delays in order fulfillment. To address these issues, Toys For Trucks turned to NetSuite to centralize its operations.

With the expertise of Myers-Holum (opens in new tab), the company transitioned to a unified ERP system that integrated financial management and inventory control into a single platform. This move led to more accurate inventory tracking, better demand forecasting, and a more reliable order fulfillment process.

With the new system in place, Toys For Trucks has reduced stockouts, gained greater visibility into its operations, and can now make more informed decisions to facilitate future growth. The company is now well-positioned to expand its operations and even pursue acquisitions.

"Implementing NetSuite was not just an upgrade but a strategic investment in efficiency, innovation, and organizational growth,” Toys For Trucks VP of Ecommerce Crissy Lisowski said. “The consultants at Myers-Holum were instrumental in the successful implementation of our new system, offering tailored solutions and change management support and empowering our team."

Customer: Prudential Overall Supply

Consumer Goods Spotlight Award Winner: Jade Global

Prudential Overall Supply is a provider of work clothing, safety uniforms, personal protective equipment, cleanroom garments, and related services for the healthcare, food and beverage, automotive, and government sectors. Based in Southern California and family-owned since 1932, Prudential has approximately 2,000 employees and 35 locations across the US.

A legacy IT environment undercut operational efficiency and burdened Prudential business units with manual work for processes such as approvals and sales quota tracking that it managed across multiple disparate, on-premises systems including a legacy ERP, SalesLogix CRM, and Crystal Reports. Siloed applications meant data duplication and contradictions that undermined reporting and decision-making and left teams struggling to piece together information. Prudential opted to modernize in the cloud with a NetSuite implementation led by Jade Global (opens in new tab).

Prudential is now automating what were labor-intensive tasks while eliminating paper-based processes. Robust controls, a unified database, and incisive reporting are improving the quality of both data and business decisions made across multiple departments. Jade Global customized NetSuite to Prudential’s unique requirements for CRM, sales process automation, and complex contract management and integrated the ERP with key legacy systems along with cloud software such as DocuSign. Consolidating Prudential’s business on NetSuite is helping it eliminate the high IT overhead of its previous tech stack and better run a complex business.

Customer: Yoder’s Eggs

Food and Beverage Spotlight Award Winner: NetDynamic Consulting

Yoder’s Eggs, founded in the early 1960s and based in Sarasota, Florida, specializes in the production and wholesale distribution of fresh eggs and ice cream to restaurants, hotels, and markets. The company operates under the family-owned Sutter’s Quality Foods, which also sells orange juice, meats, cheeses, and other dairy items.

Managing ever-fluctuating costs for production and ingredients efficiently and accurately is critical, but it was difficult to do with QuickBooks and standalone systems across multiple locations, as each had its own processes and data requirements. Integrations were difficult, standing in the way of operational efficiency, a unified view of the business, and growth. Yoder’s hatched and fulfilled a vision for robust business and operational management with NetSuite and an assist from partner NetDynamic Consulting (opens in new tab).

With the new system, Yoder’s has improved order management and inventory control and benefited from an integration with its FwdMobile sales application. Improved inventory tracking with NetSuite Inventory Management has helped Yoder’s avoid stockouts, meaning fewer lost sales, and increased automation in its inventory fulfillment process. The company saw further cost efficiencies by using NetSuite’s manufacturing and financial capabilities, along with custom scripting by NetDynamic, to better track item, overhead, and production costs. In addition, Blend ERP NetSuite SuiteApp supports Yoder’s formula management process by extending the bill of materials capability to handle alternate units of measure, a key requirement for the food and beverage industry.

NetSuite’s scalability is giving Yoder's the tools and agility it needs to expand the business.

Customer: Mid Valley Agriculture

Agriculture Spotlight Award Winner: Bring IT

Mid Valley Agricultural Services is a chemical and fertilizer retailer with seven stores throughout the Central Valley of California. Founded in 1983 and since growing to more than 200 employees, Mid Valley’s products and services help farmers improve pest management, increase yields, and boost operational productivity.

Mid Valley sought to increase its own productivity by upgrading its old AS/400 system. The outdated system struggled to handle multiple lines of business such as farming, fertilizers, retail, and ecommerce, requiring extensive manual work for staff, and was difficult to tailor to Mid Valley’s unique needs. Mid Valley sowed the seeds for business success with an upgrade to NetSuite, implemented by Bring IT (opens in new tab).

Mid Valley now has a robust back-end system to power accounting and operations. NetSuite has driven efficiency gains by reducing time spent creating customer statements and billing minimum service and overdue charges. Bring IT customizations for custom pricing, units of measure, weight tags, and fertilizer recipe management that match Mid Valley’s longstanding business practices brought additional gains. The retailer saw more benefits with integrations between NetSuite and other apps for functions including chemical manufacturing with Blend ERP, commissions management with SPIFF, and sales tax with Avalara. Additionally, Bring IT’s user training helped ensure that Mid Valley could quickly capitalize on the benefits of its new platform.
