Two companies, one public, one private, will be sharing their real-world experience on extending NetSuite with workflows, scripting and customization tools, at SuiteWorld 2014, a perfect opportunity for others to hear how to get extra value from their NetSuite investments.

SolarWinds, a public company based in Austin, Texas with more than 1,500 employees and 60,000 customers, implemented NetSuite in 2006 after outgrowing QuickBooks and embarking on a period of rapid, global growth. SolarWinds chose to migrate to the NetSuite cloud in order to automate a number of key business processes, including an integration between NetSuite with Salesforce.com, the company's CRM application. In their SuiteWorld session on "How to Extend NetSuite with SuiteCloud" SolarWinds IT executives will explain how they have further leveraged SuiteCloud tools -- SuiteScript, SuiteTalk and SuiteFlow -- to drive a number of additional improvements important to software companies, including sales order automation, software licensing management, maximizing software maintenance contract renewals, and integration with their ecommerce platform.

Likewise, MindJet, a privately-held San Francisco-based maker of mind-mapping software, migrated to NetSuite ERP from Oracle several years ago. Thanks to the integration and customization tools available within the SuiteCloud platform, they have continued to achieve significant improvements in business efficiency. For example, end-to-end processing of orders from their high volume B2C business has been automated -- from MindJet’s five ecommerce sites through to provisioning, invoicing and revenue recognition. Via SuiteTalk, MindJet has deployed bi-directional integrations between their proprietary ecommerce and provisioning systems, and NetSuite ERP. During this breakout session MindJet will also describe improvements they’ve made in multi-language order notification and renewals processing via SuiteScript.

Both MindJet and SolarWinds will demonstrate how to leverage NetSuite SuiteCloud tools to customize, integrate, automate and further extend NetSuite on Thursday, May 15, 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM – Room 210 E & F, Concourse Level at NetSuite SuiteWorld 2014 (opens in new tab).
