Cloud technology has never been more important, and recently we’ve seen Philippine companies taking the plunge in some exciting ways.

For example, Guido Cuerda, who used his severance money from his previous employer to open Explorer Freight, a logistics company that now boasts a fleet of 50 trucks, has turned to the cloud to help continue to grow. Similarly, the Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines is using the cloud to streamline its operations and strengthen its social impact.

In the Philippines today, competing locally is about innovation and expansion—finding ways to enable growth while also moving into the broader ASEAN market. New technologies like the cloud can make a big difference to Philippine businesses and their ability to compete at home and abroad. It’s definitely a great time of exploration and growth.

That is the main theme of our upcoming NetSuite CXO Cloud Symposium happening at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati on November 5th. During the event, Reg Singh, NetSuite VP and GM for Asia will discuss why technology is now a high-priority boardroom agenda for Philippine business and how local companies are jumping at the opportunity to adopt cloud business management software to really innovate and transform their business operations in his keynote “The Next Disruption: Cloud Empowering Businesses in the Philippines.”

Joining Reg on stage are key business leaders from Motech, MySpace Properties, UNILAB and Explorer Freight, all of whom will discuss how their companies have gained the agility, control and flexibility they need to not only support their business operations, but really bring their companies to new heights. Along with these business leaders, Frost & Sullivan APAC SVP for ICT Practice Andrew Milroy will also be on hand to discuss the latest market trends in Asia and the Philippines.

We’ve planned this event especially for CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs and other finance or IT decision makers from a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing and services. You’ll be in good company with other executives who are planning for the cloud future and want to exchange ideas. You’ll also hear insight on strategy that can keep your business on the leading edge.

This symposium runs from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, 5 November, and includes cocktails, dinner and a raffle—at no cost. Register here (opens in new tab) for an engaging evening with your peers and industry leaders.
