SuiteWorld 2014 is just around the corner and it’s bigger and better than ever. It’s never too early to start planning for the event and what you need to bring. So here’s a quick checklist of some of the things you’ll need for the show.

Your general questions. Wondering how to get more out of your NetSuite Implementation? Need some tips on creating saved searches? There will be more than 200 breakout sessions across products, industries and general business where you can get answers from colleagues and NetSuite experts. So come with questions, go home with answers.

Your smartphone. Sure, you want to stay connected with home, but you’ll also want to keep up to date with everything going on at the conference with the SuiteWorld mobile app. Plus, you’ll want to join the conversation on Twitter by using the hashtag #NSW14.

Your charger. Because, after live tweeting two sessions and a keynote, you don’t want to be the person wandering the expo hall, begging to borrow someone’s iPhone cord.

Your specific questions. Need to dive a little deeper with some detailed questions about NetSuite and your business? Meet with a SuiteGuru (opens in new tab) and one of NetSuite’s technical product experts will offer their insight in a 30-minute private session on the topics of CRM, ecommerce, ERP, NetSuite OneWorld, NetSuite OpenAir and the SuiteCloud Platform. Pre-registration is required and seating is limited so sign up now.

Your Feedback. Want some input into the future direction of the NetSuite product? Sit down with product managers at the Product Roundtable (opens in new tab) discussions and let them know what you need, what you wish you had and how NetSuite can do it better.

Your business cards. With more than 6,000 expected attendees you’ll have plenty of chances to make connections, either with people who can help you get the most out of NetSuite, or better your business. Maybe you’ll even find that hiking companion, kite surfer, baseball card collector or needlepoint friend you’ve been looking for. It’s all possible but you’d better have a way to stay connected.
A lightweight jacket. Sure, it’s San Jose in May, but you won’t be the first to notice the meeting rooms can sometimes get cool.

Your appetite. There will be plenty of food for attendees this year, but also be sure to check out the Birds of a Feather lunch sessions, bringing together people in similar industries, using similar products or in similar roles. Just look for the signs on the table, sit down and strike up a conversation.

Your dancing shoes. Wednesday night’s SuiteCelebration is sure to be a good time with a special musical guests Nicky Bluhm and the Gramblers, opening up for Aloe “The Man“ Blacc, along with plenty of food and drink at the City National Civic (opens in new tab).

Your walking shoes. With more than 200 breakout sessions, more than 100 solutions from NetSuite partners, plus keynotes and evening events, you’re going to be putting in some mileage at the San Jose Convention Center.

A photo ID. That’s the only way to get your badge.

A spare bag to bring home all the giveaways. Meander over to the SuiteLife lounge and pick up goodies from NetSuite customers while playing some interactive games and recharging your phone or yourself with some candy. Then head over to the Expo Floor where there will be plenty of swag you can bring home to the kids (or keep for yourself).

See you in San Jose!
