NetSuite participated as a sponsor for the FEI Leadership Summit in sunny Las Vegas April 26-27. The event boasted an impressive attendance of over 750 finance professionals. I want to send a personal thank you to the 100+ folks who stopped at the NetSuite booth to learn more about how they can become more productive using NetSuite’s automation versus a hairball of other applications. The NetSuite booth was hub of activity, but we didn’t quite capture the same attention as Mitt Romney, who gave the Day 1 keynote speech – No Apologies: The Case for American Greatness. He then did a book signing for a queue of fans that wrapped around the exhibit hall.

On the second day of the conference Jim McGeever, NetSuite CFO, and James Jones, Director of FP&A for Kana, a top NetSuite customer, participated in the SaaS panel discussion “Under the Hood: The Mechanics of Software as a Service” discussing the advantages of speed to deployment, overall cost savings and automated upgrade process with SaaS applications offer compared to on-premise or outsourcing. Thanks to James Jones from Kana for joining us on the panel and recounting Kana’s success story of switching off of several legacy applications to NetSuite over four years ago.

We look forward to the FEI SF Chapter golf event in May at Harding Park!
