It’s no stretch to suggest that digital has impacted the advertising, publishing and media(opens in new tab) industry more than any other. It’s what makes working in these fields so challenging – and so exciting.
NetSuite will capture some of that excitement next month in San Jose, Calif. at the annual SuiteWorld conference. We’ve lined up sessions and events for customers, partners and prospects at the show that should accelerate the momentum we’ve seen not only at NetSuite in this particular vertical, but also with our customers who are doing some really innovative thing with their business and NetSuite’s solution. As anyone in the field will quickly tell you, either disrupt or be disrupted.
That, in fact, is a central theme of one of the key sessions for attendees in the industry. Innovate Now! How High Tech and Services Leaders are Thriving in the Age of Fast Innovation, on Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. will feature Jay Prasad, VP, Global Business Development and Partnerships, at TubeMogul, a leading advertising software company(opens in new tab) that went public this year, R “Ray” Wang, principal analyst, founder and chairman at the analyst firm Constellation Research and Anthony Lye, CEO of HotSchedules, a leading provider of employee scheduling and labor management solutions for the restaurant industry. The session will explore how innovators, from startups to mature organizations, are mastering the ‘art of reinvention’ to disrupt existing business models and win market share.
I also encourage media industry attendees to check out my session with Cardinal Path on Tuesday at 2:30 entitled Dialing in Practices in Project and Resource Management in a Marketing Services Organization. I’ll be talking with Dave Reichenbacher and Jennifer Lanser from Cardinal Path, a marketing analytics service provider, about how they used NetSuite to track and evolve their metrics as the business grew.
Finally, be sure not to miss Managing the Business Development to Project Kick-Off Cycle, on Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. to hear from The Marketing Store Worldwide, a global advertising force, about how its using staffing and cost models to drive accurate estimates and on-time delivery to their demanding clients.
Of course, it’s not all just sessions. There’s plenty of opportunities to network and trade tales about the industry. There was a lively conversation last year after a session when agency professionals from New York, LA and London got together and wound up talking about digital marketing in their markets and share some frustrations. They all agreed to meet up again in New York to share their progress.
All of NetSuite’s AMP customers are invited to an exclusive cocktail event. At the event there will be plenty of time for similar conversations over cocktails. Book your calendar Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Four Points Sheraton. Be sure to register for that here(opens in new tab).
In the meantime, reach out to the Advertising, Publishing and Media team here at NetSuite. We’re now more than 50 strong with a dedicated services team and eager to help you get the most out of NetSuite and SuiteWorld.
See you in San Jose!
