Spurred by an interest in barefoot living in the United States, VIVOBAREFOOT grew rapidly and now sells roughly 100 different types of shoes, with manufacturing in China, Portugal where it makes its higher end products and at a fair trade social project in Ethiopia. It expects to reach £100 million in revenue by 2023.
VIVOBAREFOOT realized that in order to continue its trajectory, maintain margins, and control over its brand and customer experience, it would need to focus on ecommerce and buck the longstanding history of the shoe business—either own the stores or be a distributor.
To help in its shift in focus from its London flagship store and 20 franchisees across Europe to ecommerce, VIVOBAREFOOT selected NetSuite to manage its financials, inventory management and ecommerce site eliminating the complexity of its previous systems to quickly and easily act on critical business data.
