Genesys, a provider of call center and customer experience technology, has grown to become a $1 billion company with operations in 90 countries around the globe. After it was spun off from Alcatel-Lucent in 2012, it needed to transition from its parent company’s SAP system. It sought a cloud-based system that could manage its subsidiaries on one platform and scale with the company’s growth.
