Founded in Sydney’s Bondi Beach in 2012, Bailey Nelson’s fashionable sunglasses and spectacles quickly made waves in Bondi and beyond. Designing all products in-house and hand-picking quality manufacturers to partner with, the company has grown to 70 stores across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK.
With such rapid growth, Bailey Nelson found it challenging to manage its global expansion, as each country had a different general ledger system. Furthermore, not having a singular ERP solution limited its ability to effectively manage its supply chain, struggling with multi-location inventory management, foreign currency and its ability to produce timely consolidated financials.
Bailey Nelson needed a more robust business management solution to manage the business across geographies. Deploying NetSuite in 2019, the business has seen marked improvements to visibility over inventory, supply chain and financial processes with one easy-to-use platform.
In the future, Bailey Nelson will continue to upskill its staff to fully utilize the NetSuite system. The introduction of NetSuite’s Planning and Budgeting could be a potential addition for the company going forward.
