SuiteWorld, the No. 1 Cloud ERP event, is really so much more. In fact, this year’s show (May 16-19 at the San Jose Convention Center) promises a little bit of everything – 8,000 attendees from over 50 countries, 1,000 employees, 160 breakout sessions, an Airstream Trailer and the chance to travel the globe, without ever leaving San Jose. And you can bet, it will all Be Bold!
In the past we’ve offered advice on what to pack for SuiteWorld, but given the growth of the show, the crowds and the expectations, this year we’re offering up some advice on how to make the most of the week.
This year, NetSuite is offering a little something extra for those concerned with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) before the full show starts. The first GRC Day will be held at the Doubletree San Jose Airport on May 15 and 16. The full agenda and registration are available at www.grcday.com. GRC Day attendees will also be eligible for seven hours of CPE Credit.
NetSuite customers will once again take center stage at SuiteWorld and attendees can get hands-on experiences with several exciting customers within the NetSuite Demogrounds. That includes Wingtip and Alton Lane. Attendees can find out why Travel+Leisure magazine hailed Wingtip as a "haven for modern gentlemen," and see how Wingtip has used the SuiteCommerce Advanced and SuiteCommerce InStore solutions to create a personalized one-stop shopping experience for the modern gentleman. There will be fun experiences every day, so come back often! Alton Lane, the premium tailored apparel retailer, will also be on site with its vintage AirStream trailer complete with body scanner to get the perfect fit.
SuiteWorld is all about getting the most out of NetSuite and this year’s show offers plenty of opportunities. There’s more than 160 break-out sessions tagged by role, industry and product. Attendees will hear informative and inspiring keynotes from CEO Zach Nelson, President Jim McGeever and Founder, CTO and Chairman of the Board Evan Goldberg. Additionally, this year promises something new. Industry-specific keynotes on Wednesday for Software, Retail, Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution, Service Based Industries and Nonprofits.
With an expected 8,000 attendees, there’s plenty of opportunity to connect with fellow NetSuite customers. To help make that happen, the Birds of a Feather meet ups are back, offering attendees a chance to connect with people in their industry, ask questions about specific NetSuite products, or connect with others in a similar role. Birds of a Feather take place Wednesday from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. This year’s event also features a UX Lab, giving attendees the chance to influence the next generation of business applications with one-on-one usability sessions and the DEVLAND, a new zone just for developers.
SuiteWorld 2016 is offering a new SuiteChallenge. Every partner booth visited and completed survey earns attendees badges of honor and a prize at the end of the conference. Challenges span social media engagement, partner visits, feedback and finding SuiteStanley. There’s more opportunity to try out customer gear as well, like the URB-E foldable electric scooter, chill out on furniture from the likes of Lovesac, Design Within Reach and RST Brands, or grab a snack from Dylan’s Candy Bar.
The NetSuite Store will again be open. Powered by SuiteCommerce InStore, the store offers goods from some of NetSuite’s coolest customers, including RuMe, Poppin, Liberty Bottleworks and Tile.
Dinners, parties and cocktail mixers will be taking place all over San Jose - from May 16-19, 2016, but it all gets topped off at the Civic Center on Wednesday night May 18th at 7:30 p.m. at The NSW16 Rock Show when legendary headliners from The Royal Machines take the stage, along with a special surprise guests to help us celebrate an evening of food, fun and drinks.
