NetLedger Launches New Channel
Programs
First Application Service Provider to Reach Out to Small
and Mid-sized Businesses Via Three-Pronged Channel Strategy
SAN MATEO, CA, November 18, 2002 - Continuing to extend
its leadership in the small and medium enterprise market,
NetLedger, Inc., makers of Oracle® Small Business
Suite, today announced NetLedger™ Channel Programs,
a series of programs to enable influencers, advisors
and resellers to offer NetLedger's widely-used hosted
application services. The Oracle Small Business Suite
name is used under license from Oracle Corporation (ORCL).
Consisting of three tiered offerings, NetLedger Channel
Programs is designed to build an industry ecosystem
around NetLedger's award-winning products including
Oracle Small Business Suite, NetSuite, NetCRM, and NetLedger
Advanced Accounting. The new programs also give channel
partners, certified consultants, and trusted advisors
the tools and resources to expand their small and medium
business offerings with NetLedger applications.
NetLedger Channel Programs introduced today include:
NetLedger Solution Provider Program
The most comprehensive offering of the NetLedger Channel
Programs is the Solution Provider Program, which is
designed for System Integrators and Solution Providers
looking to sell and support a suite of Web-native applications
to the small and mid-size market. Interested partners
must have experience in promoting and implementing accounting
and/or customer relationship management software or
with hosted applications. Program benefits include unlimited
trial accounts, free demonstration accounts, an Oracle
Small Business Suite for internal use, access to online
sales and marketing resources, pre and post sales technical
support, a free Certified Consultant, participation
in lead generation programs, earned margin on software
sales, and dedicated support from an experienced channel
sales team.
NetLedger Certified Consultant
Program
The second component of the NetLedger Channel Programs
is the Certified Consultant Program, which is designed
as a credential program for the technical consulting
professionals who specialize in recommending, implementing
and supporting NetLedger applications. Candidates for
this program include individuals experienced in needs
assessment, implementation, integration, training and
on-going support of accounting and business management
software. Certification levels are earned based on criteria
such as the successful completion of assessment tests,
attendance at advanced technical training, and number
of client references. Program benefits include free
demonstration and trial accounts, access to online marketing
and technical resources, unlimited technical support,
and support from an experienced channel sales team.
NetLedger Trusted Advisor Program
The NetLedger Trusted Advisor Program is the third new
program offering, which is designed for industry consultants,
such as CPAs and financial advisors, educators and professional
service providers who want to recommend NetLedger applications.
With unlimited trial accounts, a free demonstration account,
access to online marketing and product information, a
Trusted Advisor will gain the know-how to leverage the
power of NetLedger applications to make informed recommendations
to their clients. NetLedger Trusted Advisors have the
opportunity to develop professional alliances with other
channel partners nationwide, providing local access to
technology and business expertise within a broad range
of industries.
