NETSUITE ONEWORLD POWERS 'FRICTIONLESS' B2B ECOMMERCE PORTAL FOR CA TECHNOLOGIES RMDM UNIT
Partner-Friendly Sales and Renewal Platform Strengthens Company's Reseller Ecosystem,
Enables Customers to Explore Product Pricing and Configuration Options
SAN MATEO, Calif. —August 5, 2010—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced that CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA) has implemented NetSuite's OneWorld to create a frictionless Ecommerce software platform for its recovery management and data modeling solutions, directing new opportunities to its 13,000 partners and opening new lanes of communication with customers on pricing and configuration choices.
CA Technologies delivers data protection, high availability and data modeling solutions under its ARCserve and ERwin brands. NetSuite offered CA Technologies the convenience of rapid deployment and cloud-based management, while enabling it to retain ownership of its customer data and avoid per-transaction Ecommerce vendor fees.
"CA Technologies is committed to seamlessly connecting customers who need our solutions to partners who can deliver those solutions bundled with their services," said Adam Famularo, senior vice president and general manager of CA Technologies' RMDM unit. "Our NetSuite Ecommerce environment has already proven to be extremely effective in providing this market connectivity — creating a win-win for our partners and our customers."
NetSuite's reporting and analytics capabilities provide detailed information on completed transactions, as well as abandoned carts — making it easier to distinguish missed opportunities from those completed through the reseller channel. In addition, NetSuite OneWorld's multi-site capability enables CA Technologies to host separate front-end sites for the ARCserve and ERwin product lines, while consolidating transactions in a single integrated backend.
"CA Technologies' rapid success is a perfect example of NetSuite's suitability for divisions of large companies," said Jim McGeever, COO at NetSuite. "Our combination of cost-effective management and high-end enterprise extensibility make NetSuite ideal for these types of divisional deployments."
