First and Only Features
NetSuite consists of four main components—CRM/SFA,
ERP, ecommerce, and business intelligence/real-time
dashboards—all delivering many "first and
only features."
- First and only business application with built-in
customisable dashboard views based on user roles.
- First and only Web-based business application with
"Xtreme List Editing."
- First and only mid-market product with commission
management and payment.
- First and only on-line product with advanced features
for product distributors including serialised inventory;
pick, pack and ship; matrix items; units of measure;
bar coding; and quantity pricing.
- First and only application with complete UPS®
integration. NetSuite, Inc. is the first software
company to receive the entire UPS shipping API, allowing
the product to handle shipping like no other business
application.
- First and only ERP/CRM solution with integrated
ecommerce. NetSuite can generate a database-driven
Website automatically; can host Web pages; and can
draw on inventory data, pricing data and other information
held in the application.
- First and only mid-market solution with recurring
billing. NetSuite keeps track of when the next bill
is due and automatically creates it based on complex
billing terms.
Three problems solved by
NetSuite
Problem: Data outdated
and inaccessible.
Solution: Web-based
software. NetSuite is delivered as an online service,
so all key business information and functions are available
anytime, anyplace. This solves the many problems stemming
from a client/server architecture, in which a company's
employees must be physically present in the office in
order to log in and have up-to-date information on prospects,
customers, employees and partners. With NetSuite, the
physical location of the user is irrelevant so all data
is always up-to-date and available from anywhere.
Problem: Multiple,
disparate products.
Solution: Integrated
suite. A typical business uses multiple software
products—one product for accounting/ERP
(e.g. QuickBooks or Great Plains), one product
for sales and customer contacts (e.g. ACT! or
Salesforce.com), and one product for a website/webstore
(e.g. GoEmerchant or Miva). With NetSuite, all
these business functions are handled in one, completely
integrated product. That means no more re-keying
of data, no more delays from the consolidation
of information, and no more buying "integration"
software—software whose sole purpose is
to get other software to talk to each other! In
NetSuite the complete, end-to-end business cycle
flows automically—from a lead to a prospect
to a sale to a shipping ticket an invoice to a
customer support case to a marketing campaign.
It's all one, integrated, simple process.
Problem: High-costs
of enterprise software and services.
Solution: NetSuite's
price. NetSuite provides "SAP-like functionality"
at a fraction of the cost. Because NetSuite is Web-based,
there is no hardware to procure. Because NetSuite delivers
software as a service, there is no large, up-front license
fee. And because NetSuite replaces the need for multiple
software products to run the various functions of a
company's front-office and back-office, there is a cost-savings
of hundreds of thousands of dollars for growing and midsize
enterprises who standardise their businesses on NetSuite.
