NETSUITE ANNOUNCES SUITECLOUD DEVELOPER NETWORK PARTNERS IN AUSTRALASIA Online One Creates Asset Management Vertical Suite and Electronic Management System On NetSuite Using the NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS) ePayroll Integrates with NetSuite Via NS-BOS Sydney, Australia — March 20, 2009 — NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for medium sized enterprises and divisions of large companies, today announced two new SuiteCloud Developer Network partners, Online One and ePayroll, who have leveraged the NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS), the development platform that is part of NetSuite's SuiteCloud Ecosystem, for the creation of software applications for their respective vertical markets. NetSuite also announced the SuiteCloud Ecosystem, a comprehensive offering of on-demand products, development tools and services designed to help customers and commercial software developers take advantage of the significant economic benefits of Cloud computing. Please see the accompanying release. NetSuite's Vice President of International Sales, Johnny Jones, said the two Australian partners have already developed applications in NS-BOS and are providing them to local and international customers, including NetSuite users. "We are delighted that Online One and ePayroll have already leveraged the advanced capabilities of NS-BOS to provide niche solutions that build on the NetSuite family of business applications," said Johnny Jones. Online One Delivers Asset Management and Electronic Payment Systems Online One's Sales and Marketing Director, Don McLean, said NetSuite's approach is unique in the way that it provides open access to the application code, enabling Online One's products to operate completely within the Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. "With NS-BOS, we can take our code and create a suite bundle so that customers have integrated access to our functionality as well as the NetSuite applications," he said. "So if a company is using our Asset Management system, they can create an asset register and routines to depreciate their assets and when the depreciation runs it will automatically post the data to the NetSuite General Ledger." Mr McLean said Online One identified SaaS as the way of the future seven years ago and chose to partner with NetSuite because of its visionary approach, as it is the only SaaS vendor that creates a complete suite of solutions that are relevant to business. Its combination of back office and front office systems address all the functionality that every business needs. Mr McLean said NS-BOS makes it easy for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) like Online One to add value by developing complementary solutions. "With NS-BOS, we can very quickly take something from concept to reality, test it and then get it into a customer site for feedback. The development platform has grown tremendously in the past two years and offers powerful debugging capabilities along with the enterprise-level security that is inherent to NetSuite. "With any other development platform we would have to build our own security, but NetSuite has that side of things completely covered. We were able to deliver our Electronic Funds Transfer application for New Zealand within just six weeks using NS-BOS and, like any other SaaS application, releasing it to the market is just a matter of turning it on," he said. Integrated Payroll with ePayroll ePayroll Business Analyst, Tony Senese, said the integration enables users to automatically post their payroll data to NetSuite. "The benefit for customers is ease of use. Our tight integration with NetSuite means there are no manual files to load and no chance of data getting misplaced or mistranslated. We recognise that the payroll function is often handled by a start-up business owner or administrator who has only limited payroll knowledge, so the ePayroll solution empowers the user with built-in rules that simplify the process and ensure compliance." Mr Senese said ePayroll is committed to developing a close, on-going relationship with NetSuite and appreciates the high level of support and cooperation the company provides to its partners. "NetSuite is very open in its communication and that makes the company easy to work with. The ability to sit down with them and talk about their future development plans allows us to plan proactively and adapt our offerings to leverage available market opportunities," he said.
