Program Overview

NetSuite CRM+ is the product that all participants in the 2012 National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC) will "sell" in each round of the competition. NetSuite CRM+ is a web-based software application for customer relationship management (CRM).

This web page provides a host of resources to help you learn how to use NetSuite CRM+ and how to prepare yourself to sell this product in the NCSC Competition, March 2-5, 2012.

NetSuite Inc. is a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for mid-sized businesses and divisions of large companies. NetSuite enables mid-market companies to manage core business operations in a single system, which includes accounting / enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and ecommerce. NetSuite's patent-pending "real-time dashboard" technology provides an easy-to-use view into up-to-date, role-specific business information. The company's products include NetSuite, NetSuite OneWorld, NetSuite CRM+ and NS-BOS.

Training: Learning How to Use NetSuite CRM+
  • Accessing Your NetSuite NCSC Account
    You should have already received an email introduction about your NetSuite account from your Professor, Administrator, or the NetSuite Program Manager.
  • If you haven't received this, please contact your professor. (Alternatively, you can contact the Program Manger at NetSuite, Mark Bidwell, at mbidwell@netsuite.com. Be sure to include your school name and contact information in your email.)

  • Web-Based Product Training
    Take full advantage of NetSuite capabilities by watching recorded customer training webinars. Once you are logged into your account, you have full access to these training videos. To access, go to the support tab, then select view SuiteAnswers site, and under the related links section is access to Self-Paced Training Videos. By selecting this, you can learn more about getting started, and more importantly, sales force automation.

  • For the NCSC competition, we are using a somewhat simplified pricing structure for NetSuite CRM+. In summary, you can say that the price of NetSuite CRM+ is $129 per user per month. The minimum contract term is 12 months, and all fees must be paid at the beginning of the contract period.

    - Online Case Submission: You can submit cases easily on-line through your own NetSuite Customer Access Portal, saving costly long-distance charges. During your local business hours, on-line cases submitted are responded to within 2–4 hours by either telephone call-back or via the NetSuite case management system. In the event we cannot reach our customer, we also respond through our case management system.
    - Online Support: The online knowledge base offers more than 1,500 self-service solutions, allowing you to find answers to your questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
