Bigstep.com Partners with Premier Web-Based Accounting
Solution NetLedger
San Mateo, Calif. - April 24, 2000 - NetLedger, Inc.,
the gateway to e-commerce and world's first provider
of a Web-based accounting solution for millions of small
businesses, today announced a co-brand partnership with
Bigstep.com, an e-business services company that is
taking a leading role in bringing small businesses to
the Web. NetLedger will provide Bigstep.com's customers
with direct access to its easy-to-use, feature-rich
Web-based accounting solution as a critical back-end
service on Bigstep.com's eCommerce application platform.
As part of the agreement, Bigstep.com is building a
co-branded service where NetLedger's members can take
full advantage of Bigstep.com's free, integrated services.
The co-branded service will be available mid- May.
As a result of the reciprocal partnership, NetLedger
will reach out to an expanded distribution channel:
click-and-mortars going online and e-business start-ups.
Bigstep.com's wide customer base of small business members
use its e-business solution to build and manage Web
sites, conduct secure eCommerce transactions, send personalized
email newsletters, receive detailed reports, market
online and access various backend services.
