NetLedger Allies with Network Commerce to Deliver NetLedger(TM) on FreeMerchant.com
The Agreement Introduces NetLedger's Accounting and Business Management Applications to More Than 200,000 FreeMerchant Merchants Via Single Sign-On Technology

San Mateo, CA. - March 14, 2001 - NetLedger, Inc., the leader in Web-based solutions that enable small businesses to succeed in the new economy, today announced its accounting and business management applications will be offered on FreeMerchant.com, a division of Network Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: NWKC) and an award-winning e-commerce technology and application service provider.

Under the terms of the agreement, FreeMerchant will offer a free 30-day trial of NetLedger to its more than 200,000 merchants. As a convenience for FreeMerchant members, NetLedger's unique single sign-on technology has been implemented as part of FreeMerchant's registration process. The merchants' account information will be automatically transferred to the NetLedger sign-up form when they opt in to the service. All new merchants who sign up within the next 6 months will get the same benefits. Additionally, NetLedger will be highlighted in FreeMerchant's newsletters as well as available through its site's administration tool section.
