NETSUITE LAUNCHES UK SOLUTION
PROVIDER PROGRAMME
UK Resellers Quick to Join NetSuite
Solution Provider Programme
London, 9 Oct., 2003–NetSuite, Inc. (formerly
NetLedger) today announced the NetSuite UK Solution
Provider Programme to provide resellers the opportunity
to offer NetSuite's proven, hosted application services
to UK small and medium enterprises (SMEs). NetSuite's
award-winning products include NetSuite and Oracle Small
Business Suite, the most-widely used mid-market and
small enterprise CRM/ERP suites. As the first online
CRM solutions with order management that includes VAT
integration, the Oracle Small Business Suite and NetSuite
products are fully localised for the UK market (please
see the accompanying press release). NetSuite's advanced
functionality and its on-demand delivery model promise
to change the computing landscape in the UK, just as
they have in the US. The Oracle Small Business Suite
name is used under license from Oracle Corporation (ORCL).
For more on the programme details please go to www.netsuite.com/ukresellers.
Part of NetSuite's success in the ASP (Application
Service Provider) market is its willingness to actively
pursue resellers who can share in the growth of online
applications, and the company has signed up more than
200 productive solution providers just in the past year.
Many UK IT resellers who heard about Oracle Small Business
Suite and NetSuite from other sources already have signed
up for the NetSuite UK Channel Programme even before
the company released its localised products this week.
"The fact that UK resellers signed up to offer
NetSuite even before we introduced our localised product
is another indicator that on-demand CRM/ERP applications
will change the way small to medium companies manage
their businesses," said Susan Gallagher, director
of channel sales NetSuite. "I am confident UK resellers
will enjoy the 400%+ sales growth that their counterparts
in the US have enjoyed."
"One of the major problems when a European company
sets up a subsidiary or a permanent establishment in
another country is keeping in touch with it," said
Massimo Moretti with International Business Strategies
(www.ibs-projects.com),
based in Cardiff (UK), and with offices in Rome (Italy);
and Hong Kong SAR (China). "As a NetSuite Solution
Provider, we are providing our clients the ability to
access all their foreign companies' information with
a simple email address and a password. The possibility
to control a foreign company, locally, is an extremely
powerful selling point. Combined with our international
business expertise, it will allow our clients to operate
abroad without boundaries. We look forward to how NetSuite
will impact our business by helping their businesses
succeed."
"We have already realised great growth with NetSuite
and Oracle Small Business in the international arena,"
said Ray Tetlow, CEO of Skyytek Worldwide (www.skyytek.com),
a NetSuite Solution Provider based in London, UK with
several offices in the US. "Historically, we have
sold the US version of the product to international
companies. With the launch of localised NetSuite 9.0
and Oracle Small Business in the UK, our position is
further enhanced allowing our services, international
experience and support to be truly global for all companies
in all countries."
"Many of our UK clients and prospects have US
operations, so the Web-based nature of NetSuite is a
significant selling point. Broadband availability in
the UK has increased rapidly, and we are hearing more
and more interest for a product such as NetSuite which
can provide greater functionality than traditional,
stand-alone UK CRM and accounting software," said
Stephen Taglianetti, Director at BlueBridge One (www.bluebridgeone.com)
based in Red Hill, Surrey.
The NetSuite UK Solution Provider Programme enables
system integrators and solution providers to sell and
support a suite of on-demand applications to the small
and mid-size market. Interested partners have experience
defining and automating business processes for companies
as well as in implementing CRM (customer relationship
management) software and/or ERP (enterprise resource
planning). Programme benefits include unlimited trial
accounts, free demonstration accounts, an Oracle Small
Business Suite or NetSuite for internal use, access
to online sales and marketing resources, a free Certified
Consultant membership, participation in lead generation
programs, earned margin on software sales. The new programme
also gives channel partners the tools and resources
to expand their small and medium business offerings
with NetSuite applications.
