For years, WP Coffee had used Microsoft Dynamics — Great Plains accounting software, but as a growing, nimble company, WP Coffee needed a powerful yet flexible, Web-based ERP / CRM system that could be tailored to its unique needs and scale with its growth. Specifically, it required a business software application that could manage order fulfillment to various food service and hospitality centers, each with their own models and arrangements. Using NetSuite's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ERP solution, WP Coffee protects itself from order errors from its business operations in multiple locations, using a combination of automatic controls and executive approvals, without sacrificing speed of execution. Additionally, NetSuite's integrated multiple location support gives WP Coffee clear and concise visibility of its nationwide operations. As a result, WP Coffee has cut down on costly and bulky paperwork handling by using NetSuite's CRM features including its built-in File Cabinet, which handles the company's critical documents and frees up valuable office space, as well as provides a record of voice mail contacts with customers. The File Cabinet is integrated with WP Coffee's internal VoIP phone system, so all voice mails are automatically saved under the customer's master record. This makes it a simple matter for the company to resolve disputes, as customers can listen to playbacks of their own order messages.
The NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS) also allows WP Coffee to make its own modifications and improvements to the system. The company is now free to develop numerous, in-depth customer and operational reports, which helps WP Coffee staff perform profit-boosting analyses of the company's ongoing operations.
