James Ramsey Appointed as Vice President of SMB Sales
SAN MATEO, CA. — January 8, 2004 — NetSuite,
Inc., makers of Oracle Small Business Suite, today announced
that it has appointed James Ramsey as Vice President
of Small and Medium Business Sales. Ramsey joins NetSuite
from Oracle Corporation, where he served in many sales
management roles, most recently as Sales Director of
the West. While at Oracle, he developed and executed
strategic sales plans that led to significant increase
in sales and expansion of the sales team and territory.
At NetSuite, Ramsey will lead the company's Small and
Medium Business sales initiative to further increase
the sales of its award-winning products including NetSuite,
Oracle Small Business Suite, NetERP and NetCRM. The
Oracle Small Business Suite name is used under license
from Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL).
Ramsey brings to NetSuite extensive experience spanning
nearly 10 years in sales of high tech. During his tenure
at Oracle, Mr. Ramsey won most of the company's top
sales awards including MVP of North America and Top
Sales Manager. He was a Club Excellence Achiever for
seven consecutive years. He also created and directed
many sales organizations within Oracle, including the
sales organization which managed all mid-market sales
to the Central US and Canada. Under his leadership this
organization grew from 25 to 200 employees and became
one of the top producing offices for SMB sales, doubling
the Canadian sales in the first year.
