Launched in 2007 as a provider of closing and post-closing services for private-company mergers and acquisitions, SRS Acquiom needed sales, service and financial tracking systems that could start small but scale with its planned rapid growth. NetSuite, with its integrated CRM and ERP capabilities, SaaS business model and delivery over the Cloud fit the bill. The company was able to start with the two founders as NetSuite users and grow to support tens of thousands of external clients across 97 countries and internal users located in nine global offices.

Starting with its first deal in 2007, the company has since grown to manage more than 1,000 M&A transactions comprising $185 billion in value, while representing over 100,000 shareholders, including such firms as Accel Partners, Greylock Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers. Acquiom Clearinghouse, its comprehensive M&A payments platform has now processed over $24 billion to nearly 25,000 payees. Acquiom also designs and distributes enhanced M&A escrow solutions in partnership with some of the world’s largest financial services companies including its innovative escrow investment alternative, Escrow Shield Plus.
