The role of the Field Marketing Manager is to develop, manage and evolve field programs for NetSuite’s Sales Organization. Acting as a key liaison, the Field Marketing Manager works closely with Corporate and Event Marketing, Executive Staff, and key members of the Sales Organization. The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for all aspects of field events, including closing events, tradeshow staffing, go-live events, and select, executive one-on-one events. This role is also responsible for field communications encompassing internal and external events and marketing activities. The Field Marketing Manager should be familiar and understand key industry trends, strategic market opportunities, sales team priorities, and sales best practices. We also expect this person to seamlessly execute all programs, monitor participation by the field, analyze effectiveness and provide a closed feedback loop to improve future programs.

This role will support the following activities, along with ad hoc projects:

  • Work effectively in a cross-department environment.
  • Ability to work within budget.
  • Manage vendor process for events, including managing the contract and PO process.
  • Scout and plan quarterly closing events within budget and based on needs of the field.
  • On-site logistics for events.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the field’s participation in corporate events–including travel and scheduling.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems and MS excel to pull and analyze data.
  • Analyze program results, highlighting patterns, trends, best practices and lessons learned.
  • Ability to work and network with C-level and VP level executives.
  • Own the field communication strategy for field marketing–email, social media, print.
  • Manage all ordering and inventory for field gifts.
  • Work directly with individual reps on self-service Marketing strategy.


  • College degree: BA/BS.
  • Competency in MS Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Able to adapt to the quickly changing pace of a dynamic environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Experience working with CRM software.
  • Experience at a multinational, public company preferred.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
  • Ability to interact with C-level and VP-level contacts.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently.
  • Organized and reliable, able to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Great attitude and work ethic.
  • 1-2 years’ experience managing field events and field marketing.
  • Prior Sales or Business Development experience a plus.
