We are looking for an experienced and highly successful sales manager to join the Account Management Organization (AMO) to manage and scale our Advertising and Media team. The sales manager will play a key role in the development, delivery, management and continuous improvement of sales training and enablement programs. Reporting into Director of the Services and Software verticals, this person will manage a team of account managers covering NetSuite accounts in the Advertising and Media space.


  • Hiring, developing, and ultimately making successful sales professionals.
  • Managing your business to (over)achieve key sales targets.
  • Developing and executing a sales plan that supports short and long term goals.
  • Setting expectations with senior sales management through timely and accurate forecasting, pipeline and sales activity reporting.
  • Supporting your reps, as required, during any stage of the sales cycle and account management process.
  • Motivating individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, development of creative sales incentives, and broadcast of results.
  • Internalizing and delivering the value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of different audiences, including C-Level executives.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the product offering, customer need, and competitive landscape.
  • Mastering and enforcing NetSuite Sales Policy guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be well-grounded in and understand the NetSuite sales methodology, products, sales processes, and tools that support our go to market strategy. This person also will have a strong working knowledge of NetSuite’s internal processes and procedures as well as have deep domain expertise of the Retail space. Additionally, the ideal candidate is someone who enjoys mentoring and enabling reps and takes great pride in the success of others.

  • Minimum 5 years of successful direct sales or account management experience.
  • 2-5 years’ experience managing successful sales teams is ideal.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles that can last 2-6 months.
  • Excellent communication (written, oral) and presentation skills (in-person, virtual).
  • Comfort working closely and building relationships with C-Level executive.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Unwavering commitment to integrity and professionalism.
  • BA or BS degree, advanced degree a plus.
