Job Description:
NetSuite is currently looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to provide support and guidance for the sales organization in navigating the Sales Policies, Rules of Engagement, sales compensation plans, and compliance with Revenue Recognition policies. This person will assist the sales team with quotes, estimates and orders, complex deals and will provide reports and analysis to sales management to help develop meaningful dashboards or metrics and to help drive growth. This person will review and edit sales contracts and NDA’s, working within defined guidelines and will manage and, where possible, improve the Deal Registration process, including the sales team contributions. The Analyst will utilize existing sales data sources to develop analytic models that facilitate deep-dive analysis in target areas on both ad hoc and an on-going basis. This role supports the Americas, mostly on the East Coast and will partner with colleagues in Marketing, Finance, and Legal.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 3–5+ years of relevant experience within sales operations, sales compensation or a comparative field.
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite or similar CRM/ERP programs.
  • Strong business and data analysis skills including building reports, working with complex spreadsheets, and databases to measure business performance. Possesses a working knowledge of relational database concepts and applications.
  • Ability to draw concise, well supported recommendations based on detailed analysis of the given issue.
  • Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex concepts in an appropriate manner for the intended audience.
  • Customer-first attitude preferred, with the ability to turn around requests in a very short time frame.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition principles a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable interacting with Sales teams and Executives.
