The Technical Principal Consultant will be responsible for working directly with customers to document and validate their business requirements and map them to NetSuite functionality. In addition, the Principal Consultant will work with the customer to configure/customize NetSuite application to meet their business requirements.

Responsibilities also include supporting the sales cycle through solution review and feedback, assisting with scoping and estimation, and participation in C-level prospect discussions regarding solution overview and implementation considerations.

The Technical Principal Consultant is required to contribute to the solutions repository/best practices and knowledge share activities, participate in Subject Matter Expert programs and to interface with other departments on product features/solutions.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Management Information Systems.
  • Master’s degree or post graduate coursework preferred.
  • 10+ years in application systems consulting.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Consulting experience in common industry standard business practices, such as ERP, SFA/CRM, or Ecommerce.
  • Pre-sales consulting experience.
  • Experience with software in a SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with XML/XSL and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL).
  • Experience developing web applications using JSP/Servlets, DHTML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in building customizations for business application software.
  • Certified NetSuite ERP Consultant preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
