Summary:
The Technical Analyst/Consultant is an entry-level position within NetSuite Professional Services. The Analyst will work with NetSuite Professional Services consultants to deliver successful implementation projects. The majority of these services are delivered from our offices over the telephone and internet yet customer requirements may require some travel within North America. NetSuite implementations require our Professional Services team to assess customer implementation needs, map those needs to the NetSuite application, then develop and deliver the necessary configurations to achieve an on-time, on-budget implementation project.

Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will participate in a structured training process and afterwards be able to make an immediate contribution to the organization. The Analyst will build skills for implementing NetSuite and have the opportunity to increase their level of responsibility by:

  • Being a team member on a customer implementation project
  • Using a structured methodology in the delivery of projects
  • Understanding how to obtain customer business requirements and mapping them to NetSuite software
  • Designing solutions using NetSuite functions and features
  • Identifying and managing Gaps in customer requirements and NetSuite functionality
  • Working and interacting with customers in the configuration of their NetSuite system
  • Building successful customer relationships whether remotely or face-to-face

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3.2+ GPA at a US college/university; graduating class of 2014
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Understanding of system architecture, object-oriented design, web frameworks and patterns
  • Aptitude to build web applications using Java/.NET/PHP or similar development languages
  • Experience in web technologies/standards (HTML, Javascript), unit testing and defect management tools
  • Trained user of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong work and/or internship experience
  • Strong business judgment and common sense
  • An analytical approach to problem solving
  • Initiative, creativity and a passion to deliver results that make a difference to our customers
  • Excellent listening skills, both in situations with NetSuite management, as well as customers
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
