Job Description:
The Platform Software Engineer III is a mid0level position within the NetSuite Software Development team. This position works with NetSuite Product Managers and the NetSuite Platform development team to deliver successful solutions built on top of the NetSuite platform. This role will work to implement requirements defined by NetSuite Product Management with a combination of system architecture and programming skills.

Responsibilities:

• Designing solutions
• Creating prototypes
• Writing and testing scripts
• Deploying solutions
• Use a combination of client-side and server-side Object-Oriented scripting language; Java, PHP or .NET (C#) may also be involved in certain solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• Completion of multiple computer programming courses
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience on Java/.NET platform assuming roles on systems architecture, technical design and delivery
• Skilled in integration approaches and strategies, preferably someone who has done work involving web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL) and messaging
• Very good understanding and has worked with client-side technologies like HTML, JavaScript, or Ajax and also backend technologies like SQL
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions, resolve escalated development/troubleshooting issues, and get the final delivery done according to time constraints
• Ability to quickly master new technologies
• Ability to work independently
• Minimum 5 years experience on Java/.NET platform assuming roles on systems architecture, technical design and delivery
