The Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of the team responsible for testing NetSuite's on-demand web-based, ERP/CRM/Net Commerce application. This engineer will work in the QA group with a focus on general/advanced CRM or ERP functionality.

This person must be an extremely bright, articulate, and accomplished problem solver, capable of troubleshooting complex software application problems. They must be able to provide both preventative actions to avoid similar future problems, and to make recommendations on corrective actions to resolve existing product and customer problems.

Responsibilities will include: writing test plans for new product features, designing, implementing and running automated tests, executing test plans, reporting software bugs, reproducing problems reported by customers, and verifying software bug fixes from development.


  • B.S. in Computer Science or comparable business degree
  • At least 2 years experience with software quality and testing methodologies
  • Experience testing/developing Internet applications
  • Experience working with accounting software
  • At least 2 years experience with SQL, preferably 9i/10G Oracle
  • HTML and JavaScript experience is required
  • Java programming experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with unit test development
  • Familiarity with three-tiered applications
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently when needed
  • Organized and reliable, able to efficiently manage multiple tasks
  • Great attitude and work ethic
