The Financial Operations Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including cash, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets. The Financial Operations Controller will be relied upon to manage the ongoing continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Finance organization as well as spearheading the financial operational integrations of acquired entities.


  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including cash, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets.
  • Lead the operational integrations of acquired entities.
  • Assist with treasury management, including maintenance of the global banking application, foreign currency hedges and disbursement scheduling and review.
  • Maintain and continuously improve financial operational policies and procedures as well as the internal controls over those same activities.
  • Oversee periodic worldwide fixed asset physicals and reconciliations.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial operational metrics to management.
  • Assist in month end reconciliation reviews and ad-hoc finance projects.
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Indirectly manage offshore back-office teams responsible for daily transactional activities.


  • 5-10 years as controller or equivalent financial operations position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills, including significant process re-engineering experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed ability to interact easily both up and down the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Significant experience working with ERP business systems.
  • Fluency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
