NetSuite, Inc. has a need to add a professional to its growing tax team. The successful candidate will support and partner with the current Directors of Tax who are responsible for the development of the company's overall tax strategy and ensuring that the company is compliant with all tax laws and regulations, both foreign and domestic. This position will assist in preparing the company's ASC 740 quarterly/annual income tax provision and tax-related disclosure. Other activities will include assisting with income tax compliance, mergers and acquisition activities, transaction taxes, transfer pricing, and other miscellaneous projects. This position provides the candidate with an opportunity to add value through strategic tax planning and working in a dynamic cross-functional environment while offering exposure to a wide variety of issues both tax and business related.

  • Assist with preparation of the Company's quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provisions including accounting for stock-based compensation, uncertain tax positions, and related disclosures.
  • Assist the Directors of Tax with managing all foreign, federal, state and local, sales/use, and income tax compliance, as well as partnering with the directors on tax audit activity.
  • Assist the Directors of Tax with management of the Company's Treasury and insurance risk management functions.
  • Perform special projects as required.
  • With targeted headcount growth, this position will be ultimately responsible for developing and managing a team of two staff members by establishing operational objectives and work plans and delegating assignments to subordinates.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
  • CPA required.
  • 7+ years of income tax experience required, including at least four years in a public accounting firm.
  • Previous project management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 740 concepts and experience with financial statement reporting and disclosure is required.
  • International experience and detailed knowledge of state and local tax issues is desirable.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with problem solving, sound judgment and decision making skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with Accounting, Finance, Legal, HR, Sales & Service, and Business Operations teams across the globe.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and good judgment.
