Summary:
NetSuite's FP&A organization is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the G&A department and to support our Corporate FP&A reporting and forecasting processes. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support and expense oversight to functional leaders as they make important strategic decisions. You will lead the expense and capital forecasting processes for the G&A organization, perform budget vs actual analysis, support close and management reporting activities and perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the Company’s Corporate FP&A processes.

In addition, you will help the FP&A team develop and implement processes to support the needs of a growing company. An ideal candidate is a top-performer who can mine large sets of data and thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment. This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A and is based in San Mateo, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with functional leaders to create annual budgets and ongoing reforecasts for departmental expenses and headcount for the G&A organization (Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, HR, Facilities).
  • Prepare monthly budget versus actual analysis and reporting for business partners.
  • Analyze monthly department spending for G&A departments; present analysis to senior management along with recommendations to achieve budget.
  • Partner with budget owners to drive improvements in forecasting and spending efficiencies.
  • Support month-end activities including determining accruals and preparing audit requests as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Own a variety of Corporate FP&A forecasts and reporting processes.
  • Act as the administrator for the Company’s planning system.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience; FP&A experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Strong Excel skills; ability to handle large volumes of data.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to communicate with all levels of company; ability to work with multifunctional team in multiple geographies.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and changes, Hyperion, Cognos.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred; NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Experience with planning software preferred such as Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Cognos.
