Summary:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to do cutting edge legal work providing legal support for NetSuite's technology transactions, primarily for business development transactions and product alliances, with significant exposure to all functional areas. There is potential for expansion of duties and greater responsibilities as the business requires with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of the legal department at NetSuite as we ramp to meet support NetSuite's rapidly expanding business. This person would interact with a diverse group of colleagues worldwide at all levels of the company, and will report to the VP, Legal & Associate General Counsel.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, focusing on licensing, technology, supplier and platform developer programs. Undertake projects as required to support business alliances and technology development programs and agreements and advise internal clients of program rights and obligations. Manage and support a variety of SAAS/Cloud transactional and compliance issues, including sales and services, data privacy, open source, and customer disputes. Candidates should work well in a fast-paced, challenging environment as part of a dynamic team of professionals, and have the ability to communicate effectively in group settings and before senior management.
