Summary:
The IT Administrator will be part of the Philippines local IT Team and will be responsible for providing support in the areas of Windows desktop, server, telecom, and infrastructure support. The IT Administrator will work closely with the IT Manager/Lead-IT Admin and the primary role is to provide administration in information and communications technology to Netsuite's Philippine office.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration and maintenance of user's hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
  • Setting up new user's accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  • Resolve IT cases in a timely manner and prioritize critical issues if necessary.
  • Work with VOIP and local voice provider to quickly resolve communication and quality of service issues.
  • Procure computer systems and other related equipment. Follow the multiple vendor costing procedure to ensure getting the best offer.
  • Work with local Facilities department for workstation movement request due to departmental rearrangements or training needs.
  • The individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
  • Perform IT orientation and training to newly-hired employees.
  • Attend to 24/7 emergency calls due to outages.
Qualifications/Skills:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information System.
  • The candidate will need at a minimum, 5 years of experience as a system administrator or related field, working in a windows domain environment.
  • MCSE or MCITP certification required. MCSA will be considered. CCNA and RHCE certification desired.
  • Proficient in the latest Windows Server Technology with extensive knowledge in Windows 2003, 2008, SCCM 2007 and Exchange 2007 /2010.
  • Windows 2003 /2008 architecture, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting and administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • A high level of proficiency supporting Microsoft products; including, but not limited to Windows XP/W7, and Office 2007/2010.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCIP networking.
  • Intermediate knowledge on Cisco routers and switches is desired.
  • Familiarity with various backup software packages (Veritas preferred).
  • Must be familiar with BES, VOIP/CISCO networks, exchange networks, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, along with familiarity with a variety of IT concepts, practices and procedures
  • Hands-on Linux and Virtualization experience is desired.
  • Telecom System Administration and advantage

  • High level of Initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact comfortably with users, executives and vendors.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
