NETSUITE APPOINTS NEW CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Enterprise Software Marketing Executive David Downing to Lead Global Up-Market Expansion of NetSuite's On-Demand Business Management Software

SAN MATEO, Calif.—June 26, 2008—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites for the mid-market enterprise and divisions of large companies, today announced that David Downing, a global technology marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience, has been named NetSuite's new Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Downing will be charged with overseeing all of NetSuite's worldwide marketing initiatives; driving awareness and adoption of NetSuite's Accounting / ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Ecommerce software suites; and spearheading marketing initiatives aimed at moving NetSuite up market to meet the needs of mid-market enterprises.

"David's extensive experience in developing innovative sales and marketing strategies for premier technology companies will help our team as we continue to move forward with our mid-market expansion," said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite.

Downing's leadership skills and innovative marketing strategies have been employed at some of the technology industry's leading enterprise software organisations, including Adobe, Oracle, Informatica and SAP. Before joining NetSuite, Downing was Vice President of Marketing at venture-backed MetaLINCS, acquired by Seagate Technology, in December 2007. Previously, Downing worked at SAP where he was an integral part of the team building support for SAP NetWeaver among independent software vendors (ISVs) and the venture capital community. As the vice president of marketing at Informatica, Downing was a key member of the management team that built that company into a worldwide leader in data integration and business intelligence, which included a successful IPO in 1999.

"NetSuite has built a formidable business by delivering the industry's first and only on-demand, integrated business management software suites that now serves thousands of companies in the SMB market that depend on NetSuite daily to run their critical business processes," said Downing. "We believe that the next huge opportunity for NetSuite and its technology is further up-stream, serving mid-market enterprises and divisions of large organisations who are choking on the cost and complexity of on-premise solutions. I can't think of a more exciting marketing assignment than to be part of the team charged with establishing NetSuite as the dominant supplier to the mid-market."
